New water tank to be pale blue; no lettering or logo planned BY RIKKI N. MASSAND
An impromptu discussion by the Garden City Board of Trustees at its Thursday, May 6 meeting resulted in a decision to make the new municipal water tank atop Old County Road a light blue hue with no lettering and no village logo to adorn it. But Monday’s discussion was less about the if, and more about the when and how, as configurations for library areas with six feet of physical distancing were established as goals for the reopening. The GCPL Board decided to open the Library’s Computer Lab as soon as possible with six feet of distance between patrons and computers, as soon as that is possible, and with additional sanitizaSee page 37
