Bethpage man charged with lewdness

Nassau County Police have arrested a Bethpage man for allegedly exposing himself on the field at Bethpage Middle School. According to police, four girls, ages 12 and 13, were walking on the field at Bethpage Middle School on Saturday, April 3 at 4:50 p.m. when they saw a man with his pants open, exposing himself. Police say the man was inappropriately touching
himself. After an investigation, police arrested David Cardone, 35, of Bethpage and charged him with Public Lewdness and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Detectives request anyone who may have been the victim of a similar incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.

Nicolette Kenney, a senior from Division Avenue High School in the Levittown Public Schools, recently earned her Girl Scout Gold Award after working diligently for more than a year on a passion project of hers. The Gold Award is the highest achievement that a Girl Scout can receive. Recipients tackle issues that they are passionate about and work towards enacting a change in their communities and beyond. Kenney has been a Girl Scout since the first grade and found her inspiration for her Gold Award project through Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low and Kenney’s own passion for media. Her love for broadcasting sparked after joining Division Avenue High School’s broadcasting club during her freshman year. Kenney soon decided to join a sports journalism and broadcasting cer-

Woman dies in fire
Nassau County Police and Fire Marshal are investigating a fire which took place in Bethpage on Friday, April 2nd and resulted in the death of a 79 year-old woman. According to police, officers responded to a Nicole Court
