HAPPY EASTER

Tomorrow will be the first time in history that the country will not be participating in Easter Friday activities such as church gatherings due to the national lockdown. But the lockdown won’t stop us from celebrating Easter Friday in the comfort of our homes. Let us pray for peace, love and happiness. We must also remember to pray for the world in these difficult times. We are on week two of the national lockdown. We still find ourselves in very difficult and unprecedented situations, where each day’s news cycles bring more disturbing headlines as the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 continue to increase. In the midst of this global pandemic crisis let us remain positive and follow the Government regulations to help flatten the curve. As we all continue to navigate through these unique and evolving challenges, we are urged to continue working remotely to ensure business continuity. By now we hope that you have adapted to your weekly meetings and reporting. As schools prepare to open, good luck with home schooling for those with school-going children.

Limpopo Regional Office exceeds stakeholder expectations Nandzu Trade and General Projects sent a heartfelt appreciation to our colleagues at the LP office for service excellence after the company received their very first contract to participate in the W&RSETA programmes. The company also encouraged the office to extend the same service to other companies in the province. Well done, colleagues! Keep up the good work.

IN THE MEDIA

COMPETING WITH THE TOPICAL COVID-19 COVERAGE, WE WERE FINALLY FEATURED ON SABC NEWS. On 27 March 2020 we were featured for the Kasi Enterprises Skills Development and Capacity Building project that is being implemented by the Northern Cape regional office. The launch of the project was postponed in March when government introduced regulations to restrict mass gatherings in order to curb the COVID-19 spread. Click here to access the video Please click here for the extended clip which includes a message of support and gratitude from the Northern Cape Premier, Dr Zamani Saul. The clip also includes the ITAMED sessions. Once the storm is over, we can look forward to a proper celebration of the success of this project.
