Excitement filled the room as the Eighth Grade Class closed out their time at Lisle Junior High School at the Promotion Ceremony on May 25, 2022. While their junior high experience was unique, this class’ creativity and perseverance helped them to build friendships, find passions, and prepare for the next steps. We are #LionProud of the Eighth Grade Class of 2022 and look forward to what is ahead as they enter Lisle High School!

Lion Cub Preschool Field Day Fun
The 2021-2022 school year wrapped up with the re turn of beloved traditions at each of our schools to say farewell to the exiting class. At Lisle Elementary, Field Day, Lion Cub Pre school Promotion, and a school-wide clap-out for the fifth graders helped to celebrate the end of this year and turn the focus to the new beginnings ahead.

Lisle Junior High School Renovations Update
Progress continues on plans to improve and update the classroom and common spaces at the Junior High to better meet the demands of teaching and learning in the 21st century. This will be the first major renovation to this building since the 1980s. We are pleased to share that careful financial planning has positioned the District to fund the majority of the project through the issuance of bonds and pay for the renovations over a period of approximately 15 years. Phased renovations are expected to begin in 2023 and continue over the course of three years.
Communications Update
Lisle District 202 values strong relationships with our learning community and we believe communication is a key component for this to occur. This past spring, a series of parent surveys were completed to collect feedback and suggestions on our current methods of communication. We are pleased to share that the surveys indicated an overall high level of satisfaction with district and school communications. The feedback collected through these surveys will assist our district in our continued efforts to meet the communication needs of our community.
