Netflix-Hathway partnership allows Hathway subscribers to access Netflix
Broadcast Platform Netflix has partnered with Hathway Broadband, which will provide access to Hathway subscriber content eight miles away on the broadcast platform. The content will be available in the Hathway decoder. Subscribers can also pay Netflix subscription with their Hathway bill. Unlike eight lakhs of Hathway, Netflix series has more than 130 million subscribers in more than 190 countries. As part of this partnership, subscribers will receive a Netflix button on their Hathway remote control, which gives users direct access to Netflix content. The decoder will have a monthly package of broadband and fiber optics. Along the way, Tony Zameczkowski, vice president of business development at Netflix Asia, said the company was delighted to partner with Hathway Broadband. Hathway CEO Rajan Gupta said in a press release today that customers are looking for Internet entertainment services such as Netflix to access high-quality, well-produced entertainment.
