GLOBAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
22 - 24 April 2024 | Singapore, Asia
EO’s 27th Global Leadership Conference kicked off in Singapore, which Joaquin R. Cordero accurately describes as an “impressively disruptive” city. GLC is one of EO’s most soughtafter events, so, unsurprisingly, over 1,800 entrepreneurs travelled worldwide to learn, grow, and SHINE at the incredible Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre.
We had illuminating conversations on subjects ranging from AI, human connection, entrepreneurship, speaker workshops, building bridges, green architecture, and smart cities. On these energising conversations, Bhavya K from our MEPA BRIDGE chapter says, “As we navigate these exciting yet challenging times, these insights from GLC 2024 remind us that the future of entrepreneurship is not just about adopting new technologies, but also about integrating them with a sustainable and human-centric approach. Let’s embrace these changes with open arms and minds!”
On the final day, the deep well of inspiration and innovation tippled over with an engaging keynote from Global Chair Jamie Pujara, a member of EO Kenya, who shared his EO journey and the thought-provoking back story behind his signature phrase, “THAT’S EO FOR YOU”.
19 - 23 November 2023 | Cairo, Egypt

“Leading up to the conference, I grappled with whether I should attend or not. It was an interesting time to travel to Egypt. (Which had some complexities and nuances) [But] if you [are] not in the room, how do you have a voice? How do you learn? It was truly special and an absolute privilege to engage with my fellow tribe from the Middle East, Africa and Pakistan region.” - Anton Gillis

EO Kenya’s board embarked on a thrilling journey starting with a routine strategy summit, followed by an adventurous two-day bush retreat in a remote area of the country. Equipped with only five survival items chosen from a list of 30, participants faced a night under the stars with no food, just water, and limited tents for shelter. Amidst the nocturnal calls of lions and hyenas, a sudden downpour threatened to extinguish their fire and soaked their only box of matches. Despite these challenges, the retreat became a test of teamwork and resilience, as members learned to lead, execute, and adapt in the face of adversity. The 24 hours spent roughing it out in the wilderness left everyone with a deep sense of gratitude for each other and newfound respect for the unexpected survival skills put to the test.

FAMILY BEACH DAY
Our family beach day was an unforgettable adventure, weaving precious memories as we soaked up the sun, played in the waves, and enjoyed each other’s company. From the youngest to the oldest, everyone had a blast! Feeling grateful for these moments that brought us closer together and strengthened the ties that bind.
Our Top 3 Events
1. Our first MOMENTUM EVENT after joining the momentum club for the first time - impressive attendance, and we converted one member right after.
