Lead Sponsorship: $3,000 Includes Online Forum Group Sponsorship for the Topic Area Supporting Sponsor: $500 - $2000 Topic areas include: Government, Economic Development.

Arts & Culture, Education & Technology, Health & Human Services, Law & Public Safety, Environment, and Agriculture & South County Flagship includes an intense curriculum of civic information and leadership skills development. Each year approximately 30-45 individuals are selected for this comprehensive, hands-on, multi-disciplinary study of Anne Arundel County. The program then begins in September and graduates in June, meeting monthly throughout the course.

NEIGHBORHOOD LEADERSHIP ACADEMY Lead Sponsorship: $3,000 Includes Sponsorship for the NLA Online Forum Group Supporting Sponsor: $500 - $2000 Topic areas include: Communicating effectively, understanding leadership, assessing community needs, appreciating diversity, developing and accessing resources, managing finances, building communities through partnerships and collaborations, and familiarizing with local governments Neighborhood Leadership Academy (NLA) is targeted to current and emerging grassroots leaders in neighborhoods throughout Anne Arundel County, providing residents of Anne Arundel County communities with skill-based leadership training. NLA helps participants become adept in leadership roles by focusing on improving skills such as effective communications and building consensus. It is the only program of its kind in the state of Maryland.
