Our story Lipault is a French brand created in 2005. From our Paris offices, we design bags, luggage and accessories for travel and for every day. Each season, we deliver light, cool and casual-chic essentials to carry everywhere. Our collections are designed for those always on the move: women and men with a free spirit, life explorers and everyday fashion chameleons. They are inspired by a minimalist vision and easy to combine with any silhouette. Conceived to make your fast-paced life better, they are light, full of colours, functional, easy to carry and always ready to go. At Lipault, our products are mostly made of reinforced twill nylon, a strong, water-repellent and soft fabric. Its softness will make sure you never loose space when packing. You can also flatten your bag easily to put it away. The special weave of twill nylon catches the light perfectly to deliver radiant colours, such as electric blue or fluorescent yellow. As colour is our motto, we are committed to select its most beautiful palettes, explore every shade and deliver its most perfect tones, whether they are vibrant statements or timeless variations. O U R C O LO U R S Lipault signature colour palette draw its inspiration from both the most timeless fashion stories and the trendiest styles. Every season, our permanent colour selection blend with a semi-permanent and seasonal palette available for a limited time. Lipault is keeping its new four permanent colours: Black, Navy, Khaki and Bordeaux. As well, the three semi-permanent colours are here for brighter statement tones (Cobalt Blue, Antique Pink and Sunflower). The radiant Flash Coral was the highlight of the SS2021 palette, it stays available for this season. For FW21, the new colour, Deep Lake, is bringing something new: an intense blue inspired by the world’s finest lakes with a sporty-chic twist thanks to its tricolor graphic strip.

Plume Plume iconic design gives travellers a taste of a new age of travel with a brand-new edition. Beyond the iconic style, sleek lines and padded handles that made Lipault signature, the new design features the brand unconditional affection for minimalist yet very efficient travel items. Covering today’s traveller every needs – including accessible pockets, stable double wheels, customisable travel tag and TSA lock – the revamped silhouette offers both a compact design and a great capacity. The famous monochrome look plays a subtle contrast with a Navy coloured interior integrating a new ‘easy access’ pocket to facilitate your journey. Making it even easier, each suitcase pairs with any smart-sleeve item in Lipault collections, including the City Plume companion experts. Of course, Lipault brings in its unique colourful style, sharing an ever-refreshing vision of travel with each of the three suitcases size coming in a wide palette of colours. The trendiest ones (semi-permanents and seasonals) even feature a very graphic LIPAULT webbing highlighting the casual chic brand style. To keep everything organized, the iconic suitcase now counts five zipped pockets in addition to its adjustable straps. Both perfectly equipped and thoughtfully design, this new edition will surely stand out among your travel must-have.

NYLON FABRIC The material used for Plume is the same nylon as the one used on our former collection Originale Plume: a 70D Twill Nylon. Our nylon is water-repellent thanks to a special treatment against water penetration. It allows the water to leave only beads on the fabric and doesn’t go inside it (it does not mean that the fabric is waterproof, do not let your product in contact with water for too long).

As a part of Samsonite Group, we test our luggage at the same quality level as Samsonite products. We do 7 runs of tests to make sure that every suitcase qualifies for “best quality” norms. Those tests include for instance environmental test to determine the effect that high and low temperatures have on luggage materials and other components.

Lipault Bomber Since the 1950s, the Bomber jacket has been through all the decades without ever being out-of-style. As a true icon of our wardrobes, it quickly became a must-have. Lipault got inspired by this iconic jacket for the FW21 limited edition collection. The cabin and backpack have all the well-know details of a bomber jacket: a coloured lining, an elastic strip, multiple pockets and big metalic pullers.

For this special edition, Lipault redesigned some parts of its cabin and backpack to bring the identity of a Bomber jacket. First, the pullers have a new shape and are made of stainless steel with a shinny-finish. Then, the front pocket wears an elastic strip as a reminder of your favorite bomber jacket. In addition to the main front pocket, smaller pockets have been added on the front, including one zipped pocket for your passport. The logo patch also got a facelifting: it is embroidered with a bi-color effect.

The lining colour has been selected to fit the aesthetic of a bomber jacket. The midnight blue colour has a flashy orange lining while the dusty rose colour comes with a navy lining.

COLOURS For this limited edition, Lipault developed two new colours: Midnight Blue and Dusty Pink.

Looking at the fabrics, a felt badge featuring the Lipault logo mix and matches with the new ripstop nylon material, light and resistant at once. This capsule collection will not only get you through winter but through every season!

FABRIC For this special edition, Lipault decided to use a ripstop fabric with a downjacket effect. The ripstop is made of woven fabrics using a special reinforcing technique that makes them resistant to tearing and ripping. Even is it stops the spread of tear on the item, it doesn’t prevent it. This type of material is used in different sectors such as sport clothes or stunt kites. This ripstop nylon is also water-repellent. For this special edition, the logo changed its form and becomes a round plate in felt.

Lipault also redesigned the pullers to create a special and unique tricolour rope pullers, adding a French touch to this collection.

COLOURS For this limited edition, Lipault decided to use the black and Bordeaux as core colours.

FABRIC By introducing this new line into the world of travel, Lipault wanted to add a soft touch to its assortment. The fabric is made of water-repellent polyurethane, with a rubber effect and a soft-touch. Even with this type of material, the products stay lightweight.

4TMRW Lipault introduces its first collection made with recycled fabric, 4TMRW. Each bag of the collection is composed by 90% of recycled materials, the 10% remaining are recyclable. Perfect for a short getaway or for everyday life, the bags keep the essence of Lipault’s DNA while exploring a new territory. Versatile and smart yet casual and trendy, 4TRMW allows to combine conveniency and style.

FABRIC For this collection, Lipault introduces a new fabric in its assortment, the Recyclex Recycled PET fabric. Made with recycled plastic bottles, it has all the benefits required for our products, with the bonus of being eco-friendly. Like the main fabric, the light grey lining is also made with Recyclex Recycled PET fabric.

To give a more casual look to the bags, the logo is stitched on a woven patch and the silicone pullers have been replaced by rectangular stainless steel pullers

All Lipault products have a 3 year global warranty certificate. Lipault products are rigorously tested to ensure that the travel products you trust meet stringent standards. Consequently, if a problem occurs with any Lipault product and the problem is caused by manufacturing defects in material and workmanship, Lipault will, in its discretion, either repair or replace the product in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions stated. Indeed, the warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear or transport damage (by airlines for example). While non-warranty maintenance or repairs on the Product can be performed by any company, Lipault requires that customers use only an approved Lipault service center («Service Center») for warranty repairs. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs void this warranty. To locate a Service Center anywhere in the world, customers can check directly on lipault.com For warranty service at a Service Center, you will need the duly completed warranty certificate or original receipt of purchase.
