OUR STORY
Lipault is a French brand created in 2005. From our Paris offices, we design bags, luggage and accessories for travel and for every day. Each season, we deliver light, cool and casual-chic essentials to carry everywhere. Our collections are designed for those always on the move: women and men with a free spirit, life explorers and everyday fashion chameleons. They are inspired by a minimalist vision and easy to combine with any silhouette. Conceived to make your fast-paced life better, they are light, full of colours, functional, easy to carry and always ready to go.
Our story

At Lipault, our products are mostly made of reinforced twill nylon, a strong, water-repellent and soft fabric. Its softness will make sure you never loose space when packing. You can also flatten your bag easily to put it away. The special weave of twill nylon catches the light perfectly to deliver radiant colours, such as electric blue or fluorescent yellow. As colour is our motto, we are committed to select its most beautiful palettes, explore every shade and deliver its most perfect tones, whether they are vibrant statements or timeless variations. Colour conveys the values we stand for. A mischievous, powerful and positive spirit always at your side.

OUR COLOURS
Lipault signature colour palette draw its inspiration from both the most timeless fashion stories and the trendiest styles. Every season, our permanent colour selection blend with a semi-permanent and seasonal palette avail able for a limited time. Lipault is keeping its new four permanent colours: Black, Navy, Khaki and Bordeaux. As well, the three semi-permanent colours are here for brighter statement tones (Cobalt Blue, Rosewood, Smashed Pumpkin and Fizzy Mint). The FW22 seasonal colour, Arctic Break, has 2 colour variations: Iceberg, a light and vibrant blue and our Navy popped up with bright orange details.

Our nylon is water-repellent thanks to a special treatment against water penetration. It allows the water to leave only beads on the fabric and doesn’t go inside it (it does not mean that the fabric is waterproof, do not let your product in contact with water for too long).
Of course, Lipault brings in its unique colourful style, sharing an ever-refreshing vision of travel with each of the three suitcases size coming in a wide palette of colours. The trendiest ones (semi-permanents and seasonals) even feature a very graphic LIPAULT webbing highlighting the casual chic brand style. To keep everything or ganized, the iconic suitcase now counts five zipped pockets in addition to its adjustable straps. Both perfectly equipped and thoughtfully design, this new edition will surely stand out among your travel must-have.
The material used for Plume is the same nylon as the one used on our former collection Originale Plume: a 70D Twill Nylon.

Covering today’s traveller every needs – including accessible pockets, stable double wheels, customisable travel tag and TSA lock – the re vamped silhouette offers both a compact design and a great capacity. The famous monochrome look plays a subtle contrast with a Navy coloured interior integrating a new ‘easy access’ pocket to facilitate your journey. As a part of Samsonite Group, we test our luggage at the same quality level as Samsonite products. We do 7 runs of tests to make sure that every suitcase qualifies for “best quality” norms. Those tests include for instance environmental test to determine the effect that high and low temperatures have on luggage materials and other components.

Inspired by the sneaker, Lipault takes you on a cosmic journey through Design Lab, a limited edition where universes intersect, intermingle, and disengage themselves again. We levitate, our feet lifting off the ground, and witness a conjoining of the sneaker – that icon of streetwear fashion – and the suitcase. Just what it take to soar in orbit!
For this special edition, Lipault decides to use a ripstop fabric with waterproof properties. The fabric used is RECYCLEX Ripstop Recycled Polyester with a Wateproof TPU Coating. This fabric has a high resistance to water protecting your belongings from rain.

First, the pullers have a new shape and are made of stainless steel with a shinny-finish. Then, the front pocket wears an elastic strip as a reminder of your favorite bomber jacket. In addition to the main front pocket, smaller pockets have been added on the front, including one zipped pocket for your passport. The logo patch also got a facelifting: it is em broidered with a bi-color effect.
For this limited edition, Lipault developed two new colours: Midnight Blue and Dusty Pink.
Since the 1950s, the Bomber jacket has been through all the decades without ever being out-of-style. As a true icon of our wardrobes, it quickly became a must-have. Lipault got inspired by this iconic jacket for the FW21 limited edition collection. The cabin and backpack have all the well-know details of a bomber jacket: a coloured lining, an elastic strip, multiple pockets and big metalic pullers.

For this collection, Lipault uses the Recyclex Recycled PET fabric. Made with recycled plastic bottles, it has all the benefits required for our products, with the bonus of being eco-friendly. Like the main fabric, the light grey lining is also made with Recyclex Recycled PET fabric.
To give a more casual look to the bags, the logo is stitched on a woven patch and the silicone pullers have been replaced by rectangular stain less steel pullers
4TMRW is a collection of backpacks made from a recycled polyester, it was the first collection with recycled materials in Lipault's assortment. Indeed, each bag of the collection is composed by 90% of recycled materi als, the 10% remaining are recyclable.
