Complete an ‘Opt-in’ form. This can be found at L:\Trust Useful Documents\STAFF BENEFITS\Benenden Health. You can do this at any time.

Using the sent information, set up and verify your account online – either on the Benenden website or through the mobile app. This will give you access to a range of services and information.
WHAT IS THE COST? Your monthly membership is paid for by Lionheart if you choose to optin to the scheme. As HMRC deem this a benefit in kind, you will pay around £2 - £5 per month in tax, depending on your tax bracket. This is deducted from your monthly salary but won’t show on your payslip. Once your membership is live, you can add an unlimited number of family members onto your membership for £15.50 per person per month, via the Benenden website/app. You are able to cancel your membership – or remove family members at anytime; though there is a 14 day wait before your membership is officially terminated.

WHAT IS IT? The car salary sacrifice scheme allows staff to lease an electric or hybrid vehicle from Tusker. To be eligible, you must have worked for Lionheart for more than six months and earn more than the National Living Wage. You can check eligibility on the Tusker website.

When you’re ready to order, accept your chosen quote online and sign the documents provided, including a salary sacrifice agreement. Finance will receive notification to check and approve your request. Once approved, Tusker will contact you regarding a potential delivery date; this varies depending on the vehicle’s lead time. If needed, you can rent a car for anywhere between 28 to 90 days through Tusker’s StopGap Car Scheme.

WHAT IS THE COST? Costs vary depending on vehicle, length of term and mileage and can fluctuate. The price is fixed on making your application. The car is paid for via your gross salary, with deductions subtracted before Income Tax and National Insurance is paid. These costs are spread out over a period of time, ranging from two to four years, depending on the term you select. If you change your mind about your car on delivery, you will be charged for the return of the vehicle. Therefore, Tusker recommend that you are fully happy with your choice of vehicle before ordering.
What happens if I leave the Trust? If you leave your employment, the vehicle will need to be returned. As part of the Tusker package, lifestyle protections are included that will cover termination fees in some circumstances. More information is in the Tusker scheme policy document found on the Tusker portal in the ‘About Your Scheme’ section.
