A Lingfield College family who received financial support explains why they have chosen to leave a gift in their will:
Lingfield College has become our village, a place filled with kindness, care and genuine support. Our daughter thrived at the School, with opportunities we could never have imagined. Despite the challenges we continue to face as a family, we were determined she would complete her education and your support made that possible. We believe in giving back, and plan to repay your kindness by leaving a generous gift in our will so others can have the same chance.
Leaving a gift in your will If this feels like the right option for you, you can ask your solicitor to include a gift to the Lingfield Foundation in your will. We gently encourage you to let your family know your wishes, and if you are happy to, share your intentions with us so we can keep a record. You will need to find a registered solicitor to help you with your will. You may have a solicitor you have used before or one that has been recommended to you. If not, the Law Society can help you find a suitable solicitor and can be contacted on 020 7320 5650. You can use this wording to remember The Lingfield Foundation, it can be directly included into your will and is as follows: ‘I leave the sum of [amount in words] or a [percentage] share of my estate to The Lingfield Foundation, Lingfield College, Racecourse Road, Lingfield, RH7 6PH, registered charity number 1216582 for its general charitable purposes absolutely’. If you do decide to generously remember The Lingfield Foundation in your will please do inform us so that we can warmly them thank you for your support, answer any questions you may have and provide any necessary or further information.
