The Caribbean Island of Saint Lucia features stunning beaches, beautiful bays, vibrant coral reefs, lush rainforest and volcanic peaks.
Saint Lucia is an island in the eastern Caribbean Sea. Castries, the capital of Saint Lucia is in the northwest part of the island and serves as the administrative, economic, and cultural center of the island. The south part of the island features the famous twin volcanic peaks of the Pitons Gros Piton and Petit Piton, which as iconic landmarks of Saint Lucia and are one few features of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Saint Lucia is dedicated to the preservation of its landmarks and natural environments with many parts of the island being designated to conservation efforts in order to preserve these locations while also promoting sustainable tourism. Tourism is a significant contributor to the economy of the country as well as agriculture with bananas, coconuts, mangoes, cocoa beans, avocados, citrus fruits, and root crops.
Dive into the most scenic of the Caribbean islands, Saint Lucia’s dive fest takes place annually in Anse Chastanet Beach, located in Soufriere. This festival in the southern part of Saint Lucia boosts not only scenic views of the rainbow-colored reef and abundant marine life but the rich culture of the island. This beach features a world-class SCUBA center that offers offshore snorkeling for those want to explore the underwater ecosystem or for those who prefer to stay on land, lounge chairs are available for sunbathing.
Divers, beachgoers, and families alike travel from across the world to celebrate Saint Lucia’s captivating marine life because of the pristine condition of its dive site due to conservation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whether advanced or a beginner, there is much to explore during this festival. This festival highlights the conservation, education, and exploration of this island’s natural habitats with its week of activities.
6 OZ SUPERIOR
3 OZ BACARDÍ BLACK RUM
1 1/2 OZ GRENADINE
6 OZ ORANGE JUICE
6 OZ PINEAPPLE JUICE
3 OZ CRANBERRY JUICE
STEP 1 MIX
In a large container, combine all the liquid ingredients.
STEP 2 CHILL
Refigerate the mix until chilled.
STEP 3 GET SET
Just before serving, pour into a large punch bowl, stirring in ice.
STEP 4 GARNISH
Garnish the bowl with floating lemon slices. Serve with a single lemon wheel and enjoy your rum punch cocktail.
Pigeon Island National Park is natural and historic site that is located on the northern part of Saint Lucia on Pigeon Island. Pigeon island is a small islet that is connected to the mainland by a causeway. Pigeon Island has many significant aspects and key features that make it an important landmark in Saint Lucia. Pigeon Island National Park boosts not only cultural and historical significance but also features natural beauty. The park features scenic trails, two beautiful beaches, Reduit Beach and Pigeon Island Beach, panoramic views of the surrounding coastline, and lush vegetation. The island features a visitor center that can help provide information on the history of Pigeon Island to better educate guest on the islands rich past. Saint Lucia as a whole is focused on the conservation of its natural environment and Pigeon Island National Park is no different. They focus on conservation efforts to preserve the natural environment while also celebrating the rich historical and cultural heritage that the park has to offer.

Fort Rodney is a historic military structure located within Pigeon Island National Park. The fort was used by the British after they seized control of the island in the late 18th century. Today Fort Rodney is a popular tourist attraction and historical site. Fort Rodney has been designated as a national landmark because of the sites cultural and historical emphasis to the country.
