INTERIOR DESIGN
For my final course at Liberty University, I was challenged to design a mixed-use, urban in-fill building for the downtown scape. In a booming college town, my goal was to create a building geared towards that rapidly growing demographic. Some tenants that I have conceptually included are: bakery, coffee shop, group exercise studio, luxury apartments, formal restaurant, bookstore, and rooftop bar/lounge. This creative project was a culmination of all my knowledge I have accrued during my education, and I thoroughly enjoyed each step of the design process
I was tasked with the challenge of designing a nursing care facility that would provide care for 20 assisted living and 10 memory care residents. Some of the amenities found at Smith Mountain Serenity would include formal dining rooms, theatre, grocery store, private offices, greenhouse, and state of the art rehabilitation center. Smith Mountain Serenity is designed with the mental and physical health of each resident, allowing them to remain in touch with their world safely
