On February 2, we know Punxsutawney Phil will see a full years worth of amazing programs, sports, and events from Lindon! SPORTS

SPRING SOCCER

Sign up for Lindon’s Spring Soccer league! The season is set to start April 12. This is a recreational league, scores, standings, and stats are not kept. Our focus is skill development in a fun, low pressure environment.

This sport has limited space and fills up fast. Sign up ASAP to guarantee your child’s participation. Team jersey provided.

Registration: Nov 1 - Feb 22

Season: Saturdays, April 12-May 17

Fee: $40 (Kinder & Under), $45 (1st & Up)

BASEBALL

Lindon City’s Baseball league will be starting in June! We are providing a small-sized, recreation league to focus on skill development and sportsmanship. The league is based on helping the players develop knowledge of the game, and to help focus on fundamentals of baseball. This will provide an opportunity to learn the basics skills. All leagues are recreation, scores and standings will not be kept.

Registration: Feb 4 - Apr 22

Season: June 3 - July 18

Fee: $40

YOUTH HOCKEY 101 CLINIC

Lindon Parks & Rec is starting Youth Street Hockey with the Utah Hockey Club! To kick things off, we will be doing a free Hockey 101 Clinic at the Community Center on March 15.

Come join us for our introduction to Street Hockey! Here you’ll learn how to pass, shoot, and score while still wearing your sneakers and having fun with your friends! All participants are able to bring home a stick, ball, UHC tshirt and 2 tickets to an upcoming home game (based on availability). Limited sports available so hurry and register today!

Fee: Free

3rd-4th grade: 10:00-11:00 AM (35 max)

5th-6th grade: 11:00-12:00 PM (35 max)

CLASSES

CHESS CLUB

The Lindon Community Chess Club will be held every Wednesday evening from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Lindon Community Center and is FREE! The club has a unique “Chess Wizard” program to move players to chess mastery. Players demonstrate knowledge of chess basics and advance in their chess knowledge and experience. Come join the fun. All ages are welcome. Bring your friends and come enjoy and evening of chess!

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Need a break from the kids? The Rec classes are a great way to get kids out of the house and engaging in fun and creative programs. Head to LindonRecreation.org/classes to see more information and to register. See below for available classes.

PURCHASE DOWDLE PUZZLE!

Need something fun to do as a family? All Lindon Puzzles are still 20% off! Order your puzzles today! We are out of 1,000 piece puzzles but still have 300 and 500 piece puzzles. You can order your puzzles online or at the front desk of the Community Center.

All puzzles can be picked up at the Community Center Monday-Friday from 9:00-6:00 PM. Head to LindonRecreation. org/centennial to purchase your puzzle today!

LINDON DAYS JUNIOR RODEO ROYALTY

Applications are now open for the 2025 Lindon Days Junior Rodeo Royalty! Applicants need to turn in their application to Shawnee Rasmussen before Saturday, Apr 26.

Need a fun place for a summer event? Full-facility rentals for the Lindon Aquatics Center open for the season. CHESS BLITZ TOURNAMENT

FAMILY SWEETHEARTS DANCE

Celebrate Valentines Day with Lindon Parks & Rec at our Family Sweetheart Dance! This is a free event at Walker Farms in Lindon.

There will be dancing, crafts, photo booths, treats, and much more. Bring your sweethearts and join us for a night to remember!

Come join Lindon Parks & Rec and the Lindon Chess Club for a Chess Blitz Tournament! The blitz tournament will be fast moving, lots of fun, and free for all!! You do not need to be a pro to play, all skill levels are accepted. Age groups will be 12 & under, 13-17, 18-54, and 55+ years old. Prizes for the top three in each division.

Don’t know how to play chess? No worries! This Tournament is for everyone. Come try your skill and be a part of this fun event. Head to LindonRecreation.org/events for the rules and get ready to play Blitz Chess!
