SPORTS
SPRING SOCCER
Sign up for Lindon’s Spring Soccer league! The season is set to start April 12. This is a recreational league, scores, standings, and stats are not kept. Our focus is skill development in a fun, low pressure environment.
This sport has limited space and fills up fast. Sign up ASAP to guarantee your child’s participation. Team jersey provided.
Registration: Nov 1 - Feb 22
Season: Saturdays, April 12-May 17
Fee: $40 (Kinder & Under), $45 (1st & Up)

CLASSES


CHESS CLUB
The Lindon Community Chess Club will be held every Wednesday evening from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Lindon Community Center and is FREE! There will be an hour of instruction and two hours of game play. First time? No problem! Come learn how to play chess or improve your skill with others. All ages are welcome. Bring your friends and come enjoy an evening of chess!
Dates/Time: Every Wednesday, 6:00-9:00 PM (no class 12/25)

Location: Lindon Community Center
SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS
This new discounted ski/snowboard class will be held at Sundance Resort and is open to all ages 8 years and older, any skill level. All participants must provide their own equipment and get themselves to the resort by 4 PM on lesson days. Instruction time will be from 4:30-6:30 PM with free time from 6:30-9:00 PM.
Fee includes lift pass for lesson dates and four ski sessions with a Sundance Resort instructor. If the participant has a season pass to Sundance, the price will be discount in registration.
DATES: Jan 6, 13, 27, Feb 3
AGES: 8 and older
FEE: $430 non-pass holders, $320 for pass holders
TIME: drop off at 4:00 PM, lesson from 4:30-6:30 PM, free time from 6:30-9:00 PM

CENTENNIAL

PURCHASE DOWDLE PUZZLE!
Need a family Christmas gift? All Lindon Puzzles are 20% off for the holiday season! Order your puzzles today! We are out of 1,000 piece puzzles but still have 300 and 500 piece puzzles. You can order your puzzles online or at the front desk of the Community Center.
All puzzles can be picked up at the Community Center Monday-Friday from 9:00-6:00 PM. Head to LindonRecreation. org/centennial to purchase your puzzle today!

LINDON CITY CENTENNIAL MOSAIC
Participate in the Lindon City Mosaic! As a part of the Centennial Celebrations, we will be collecting photos from residents to help create a mosaic of the City Center building. Photos can be of family, friends, vacations, landscape, historic photos, and more. This mosaic will be unveiled in December and placed in the city for everyone to visit and find their photos.

HISTORIC CENTENNIAL TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY & BIRTHDAY BASH
Join the Lindon Historic Preservation Commission at our annual Historic Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. Mayor Lundberg will help light the tree for the Christmas season.
In celebration of the end of our Centennial Year, we will be hosting a party in the gym following the Tree Lighting. Come check out our giant centennial puzzle, get a slice of our centennial cake, snag some swag, and help us close out our centennial year!
Don’t forget to get your picture with Santa, make a holiday craft, and take a look at our newly remodeled Historic Museum. Come enjoy the evening with us at the Community Center!

HOLIDAY LIGHT PARADE SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE
Lindon will be hosting a Centennial Light Parade! The parade will start at 6:00 PM and will go down Center Street from Oak Canyon Jr High to the Community Center.
Any and all businesses, residents, and groups who want to participate are welcome to sign up. Registration is free! Get the lights out and decorate your vehicle, float, lawn mower, tractor, trucks, semi-trucks, flat beds, bikes, golf carts, sideby-sides, and more! This light spectacle will be a great time for all! CASH AWARDS will be given out for best entries!

HOLIDAY MOVIE AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER
Join Lindon Parks & Rec and Bank of Utah for our last of the Movies in the Park series! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, pillows, recliners, and get cozy for an evening at the Community Center as we watch the Muppets Christmas Carol! Small treats and drinks will be provided. Movie starts at 7:00 PM.
