Celebrate 60 Years of Exploration with Lindblad Expeditions
In 1966, Lars-Eric Lindblad embarked on a journey that would forever transform travel, bringing the first tourists to Antarctica and laying the groundwork for a new way of experiencing the world. Rooted in a spirit of learning and discovery, expedition cruising emphasized active exploration, and was driven by the belief that travel can inspire planetary stewardship—hallmarks that continue to define the experience today.
Since that groundbreaking voyage, Lindblad Expeditions has taken thousands of curious guests to the far reaches of the Earth, from Galápagos to Alaska, the Mediterranean and beyond. And through its 20+-year collaboration with National Geographic, every expedition is driven by a deep commitment to forging meaningful connections between people and the planet.
