LINDALEISD'S PRINTINGLEGACY

There are many people who make an impact in our lives, but Mr. Tommy Mallory has impacted the Lindale Independent School District for 51 years He was also a Lindale High School graduate in 1961

He is one of the last of his kind in the field of offset print production and still runs the print shop for LISD on the original offset equipment that he has maintained for 51 years

Before Mr Mallory was Lindale ISD’s print shop manager, he was a teacher He's had a classroom in three different campuses since he's been at Lindale ISD

It’s been a full circle of life for Mr Mallory His first classroom he taught in was also his first-grade classroom And to add to his resume, Mr Mallory also drove a bus for 38 years

Mr Mallory currently does any printing the district requires, regardless of campus or department

“I enjoy the printing now more than ever before because I can be so creative with it,” Mallory said. “I like doing things for the teachers and the departments and for the students I get a lot of thank yous I’m not in it for that type of reward necessarily but it always helps. It’s really a blessing, a reward to do all that I’m doing ”
