CRITERIA FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
The 62nd & 65th Regiments Legacy Foundation, Inc: Must be enrolled full-time, have a GPA between 2.0-4.0, submit a 500-word essay, submit three recommendation letters, complete the FAFSA and submit the FERPA.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc: Full-time sophomore or junior, minimum GPA of at least 3.2, living on campus preferable, but not mandatory, and returning the following fall semester.
Alpha Phi Alpha Freshman Male Award: First-time, full-time student for fall 2021, a male residing on campus, must have earned no less than a 3.2 GPA and currently enrolled as a full-time student for spring 2022.
Alpha Phi Alpha Undergraduate Member Award: Current member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Alpha Psi Chapter with the highest grade point average above 3.2 as of the end of fall 2021 semester.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Jefferson City Alumnae Chapter Scholarship: Applicant must have at least 24 college credits, have a 3.2 GPA on 4.0 scale, submit a copy of official transcripts, submit a 750-1000 word essay on “How the Delta Sigma Theta Scholarship will help further my career goals.”
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Eta Alpha Chapter-Luther HatcherLucius Jones Scholarship: Student must have a 3.2 or above GPA.
Dr. James H. Seeney and Mrs. Ardis (Fox) Seeney Memorial Scholarship: Minimum 3.2 GPA. A graduate student majoring in Education. This individual must be an excellent student, who has achieved academic success, and is a person of high character, initiative and integrity.
Capital Region Medical Center Scholarship: Candidate must be a resident of Missouri and live within fifty (50) miles, must have a 2.5 GPA based on a 4.0 scale in their nursing course, have the standing of a junior, having completed a minimum of sixty-two (62) hours toward the nursing degree and must be enrolled in at least ten (10) credit hours each of the last four (4) semesters.
Herman T. Miller Scholarship: Chemistry major with at least a 3.2 GPA and complete sixteen (16) hours in Chemistry.
Joanne Burrell Memorial Scholarship: Awarded annually to an undergraduate creative writing student at Lincoln University whose academic record and sophistication demonstrate diverse interests and a dedication to the humanities. Strong preference is given to candidates with financial need. Minimum GPA 2.5. Scholarship Value $200.
Lock-Heinen Scholarship in English: Applicants must have completed at least forty-five (45) hours toward a degree at the time of application. They must have completed nine (9) hours in English beyond the general education requirements, and they must have a GPA of at least 3.5 in these courses. The applicant’s cumulative GPA must be at least a 3.2
Lock-Heinen Scholarship in Journalism: Applicants must have completed forty-five (45) hours toward the degree, nine (9) upper division credits in Journalism with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better.

Lincoln
University Nursing Scholarship: The Sister Mary Jean Ryan, Lincoln University Nursing Scholarship will be awarded annually to a student enrolled in a nursing class in the Department of Nursing Science at Lincoln University. The student’s permanent residence must be in Cole, Osage, Miller, Moniteau, Callaway, Gasconade, Maries, Camden, or Morgan County. The student should be in good standing academically (hold a minimum of a 3.2 GPA or above, on a 4.0 GPA scale, or an equivalent rating on a comparative GPA scale) and exemplify the St. Mary’s values of compassion, respect, excellence, stewardship, and community. The student must have completed 30 or more hours in the Lincoln University Nursing Science Program.
Willis E. Byrd Scholarship: Science major who has completed at least sixty (60) hours with a minimum GPA of 3.2 and who reflects initiative, industry and the promise of continuing growth.
