This year's coronation holds a special significance as we commemorate the 100th year of Miss Lincoln University For a century, the role of Miss Lincoln has symbolized leadership, poise and the embodiment of the values that make our institution exceptional As we reflect on the 99 women who have worn this crown before, we are reminded of the countless contributions they have made not only to this University but to their communities and the world beyond
To our 100th Miss Lincoln, Yessnia Austin-Dixon, you join an ongoing thread of outstanding women whose lives are interwoven with the rich traditions of this role As you step into this monumental year, I know you do so with dignity, strength and resilience, much like those who came before you I am sure you carry yourself in a way that inspires the queens who succeed you.

Jesse Canamore is a senior political science major hailing from the vibrant city of St. Louis, Missouri, known for its warriors, dreams and hard work. He is the son of Ann and Herman Canamore, Jr. Inspired by the memory of his mother, who passed away on September 28, 2021, Jesse brings an unapologetic energy that makes him a standout presence in any room
His journey at Lincoln University began as an honors scholar, where he joined the Vocal Ensemble and was a member of the football team. Eager to make an impact, he served as freshman class representative-at-large, earning the "Freshman of the Year" award for 2021–2022. During his sophomore year, Jesse was honored to serve on the Royal Court as the Gentleman of Honor to the 20th Mister Lincoln University, Tyree Stovall His dedication to uplifting the University earned him the title of "Most School Spirited Individual" not just once but twice in consecutive years.
Jesse is a proud brother of the Alpha Mu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc , where he currently serves as polemarch He has also held the title of "Mister Poise" for the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs (NACWC) and currently serves as vice president of the Prestigious Men of the Future.
Upon degree completion, Jesse aims to effect change in politics and government He attributes his success to his father and late mother, who taught him the importance of standing out and provided him with unwavering love and support throughout his life Jesse expresses immense gratitude to his peers and mentors, saying, “Without your help, I would have lost my way. Without your love, I would have lost my heart. Without your vision, I would have lost my hope.” He encourages others to “Establish the many Ls of life: living, loving, laughing and learning to leave your LEGACY ” Jesse feels blessed and honored to serve as the 22nd Mister Lincoln University of Missouri

Yessnia Austin-Dixon is a senior wellness major with an emphasis in health promotions and a minor in creative writing, hailing from Chicago, Illinois. She is the eldest daughter of Mecca Dixon and Jarad Austin and a mentor to her siblings, Jerica and Jeremiah
Her passion for the performing arts began at an early age, influenced by the community surrounding Lincoln University. Yessnia loves expressing herself through dance styles such as gospel praise, majorette, contemporary, jazz and hip-hop, promoting creativity, community and inclusion She founded the Royal Tigerettes Dance Team in Jefferson City, Missouri, which has thrived for nine years under her leadership, performing at events like Kids Fest, the Salute to America Parade and the Lincoln University Gospel Concert.
At Lincoln University, Yessnia was a proud member of the Blue Flame Dance Line, achieving her dream of becoming captain in spring 2021, a position she held until spring 2024 She was initiated into the Golden Theta Rho Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, Inc , where she served as chapter historian, treasurer and vice president. Additionally, her commitment to leadership and service led her to be elected representative-at-large on the 88th Student Government Association.
Crowned Miss 1932 for the Alpha Mu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc , Yessnia's journey has led her to aspire to be Miss Lincoln University She credits her successes to her family and faith, inspired by Job 22:28: "You will succeed in whatever you choose to do."
As the 100th Queen of Lincoln University, Yessnia is committed to fostering inclusivity, promoting the arts and inspiring others to embrace their unique journeys, leaving a legacy for the University community

Da’Quan Ayers Keri Cobb
Da’Quan Da’Nario Houdini Ayers is a junior broadcast journalism major from Kansas City, Missouri, the heart of America He is the son of Lorine Ayers and an outgoing student leader dedicated to achieving success in all his endeavors Actively involved on campus, Da’Quan serves as the treasurer of the Student Government Association, a ROAR Agent, a Blue Tiger Ambassador and the vice polemarch of the Alpha Mu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc He is also a three-time Dean’s List honoree.
Aiming to maintain a strong academic record at Lincoln University, Da’Quan hopes to attend graduate school upon graduation He plans to use his education to give back to his community, teaching children about the various paths to success and helping families bridge the wealth gap Da’Quan wants to give a special shoutout to his mother for always being his number-one supporter His favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 11:1: “Let your faith be bigger than your fears,” and his favorite quote is: “Believe you can, and you're halfway there.”
Keri La’treece Gale Cobb is a senior psychology major from Caruthersville, Missouri, in the Bootheel region She is the daughter of Kerry and Belinda Cobb and the granddaughter of Gazzie, the late Doris Benson, Tommy Lee and Shirley Cobb. Her dedication to academics has earned her a spot on the Dean’s List four consecutive times, maintaining a 3 4 GPA as a hardworking student-athlete determined to achieve her goals
Keri has been actively involved as a member of the Blue Tiger cheerleading team and is currently serving as a ROAR Agent After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in psychology, with the aim of opening her own private practice focused on helping young adults with behavioral challenges. Her goal is to assist them in becoming self-aware by recognizing patterns in their thoughts, emotions and behaviors

As a student-athlete, he played strong safety and outside linebacker for the Lincoln University football team for three years. Passionate about real estate, Terell plans to launch his career by acquiring Section 8 rental properties to build a substantial real estate portfolio
Ja’Leisha Faith Cooper is a senior criminal justice major with a minor in social work, hailing from East Saint Louis, Illinois, known as the City of Champions. As the youngest daughter of Felicia Cooper, she embodies an outgoing spirit and a strong commitment to success in all her pursuits.
His family is his foundation, and he draws particular inspiration from his mother, Tyechia Beasley, and his nine siblings His favorite quote is, “Success is not just about what you accomplish in your life; it’s about what you inspire others to do.”
Ja’Leisha is actively involved on campus as a member of the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs, Queens United Leadership Academy, Inc , Blue Tiger Ambassadors and as a community assistance student worker through Residential Life

Keith Larone McConnell, Jr. is a junior from St. Louis, Missouri, majoring in kinesiology with a minor in wellness Keith is the son of Keith McConnell, Sr and Rhonda Harris He is an outgoing student dedicated to success in all his pursuits Actively involved on campus, Keith is a member of the Lincoln University ROTC program and the Royal Court
He aims to build a strong academic foundation at Lincoln and plans to attend graduate school for a master’s degree in athletic training. Keith's goal is to use his education to support athletes both on and off the field, focusing on teaching young athletes various healing techniques
Dayonna Michelle Crump is a junior nursing major from Memphis, Tennessee the home of the blues She is the daughter of Christina Stokes and the late Darry Crump. As an outgoing student-athlete, Dayonna strives for excellence in all her endeavors.
She is actively involved in the Lincoln University track & field team, ROTC and Queens United Leadership Academy, Inc She aims to maintain a strong academic record at Lincoln and hopes to graduate with a nursing degree while commissioning as an officer in the Army

Gabriel Williams Madison Hampton
Gabriel Ashton Michael Williams is a sophomore from Wichita, Kansas, majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in English Gabriel is the youngest of seven boys and the son of Kevin and Loretta Williams He earned Dean's List honors for both semesters during his freshman year and previously served as Mister Freshman
Reflecting his dedication to academic excellence and community service, Gabriel is active in various campus organizations. He participates in the University Honors Program, is a member of the Blue Tiger track team and serves on the Royal Court He is also a White House HBCU Scholar and a Thurgood Marshall College Fund Ambassador
Madison Chantel Hampton is a sophomore from Little Rock, Arkansas Madison is the daughter of Jesse and Chimere Hampton. Growing up with her siblings Antonio, Jesse, Jessikiya, Makenzie and Trenton she developed a strong sense of family and ambition.
As a Lincoln Honor Student, ROTC cadet and softball player, Madison is actively involved in university life Majoring in criminal justice, she aspires to become a family court judge

Jasmine Elise Hargrove is a freshman nursing major from Saint Louis, Missouri Jasmine is the daughter of Tracy Braxton-Hargrove and Timothy Hargrove.
Sammie ran for Mister Freshman to promote unity among students, enhance school spirit and encourage more participation in campus events He lives by the mantra, “Success isn’t about where you start but where you’re determined to go ” Honored to serve as Mister Freshman for the 2024–2025 school year, he looks forward to making a meaningful impact on campus
