Summer Reading Programs are beneficial for kids and adults alike! For children and teens, reading during the summer improves reading skills and critical thinking and helps prevent the dreaded "summer slide" of declining academic skills. For adults, reading for pleasure is a proven way to reduce stress, improve sleep and enhance a sense of community.
Starting June 1st - July 27th, create your own reading goal. Each month, after completing your goal, bring your log in to claim your reading prize and receive a ticket to enter in the grand prize drawing.
Additionally, you can receive a stamp for programs attended. For every two programs you attend, you earn an extra grand prize ticket.
