I am a student of Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) School of Design - Architecture. Studying in NYP has nurtured my presentation, interpersonal skills, date-lined orientated and a keen eye for details. Besides, I have also developed a deep appreciation for mathematics and physics which is applicable in the design industry.

With attributes for hardworking. meticulous, resourceful and reflective. I constantly strive to leam new things to improve my skills sets and make new contacts wherever I go. Being exposed and trained to excel time management, I have managed to achieve work-life balance.

During my free time. I tend to explore around Singapore or trainspotting when overseas. I look forward to accumulating more working experience as every leaming journey is fruitful and enjoyable.

The LRC is taking a “zero net energy” building approach with the following specific design goals:. Minimise resource consumption for heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, and water supply/waste, while providing thermal comfort and control capabilities to occupants. Utilise on-site renewable energy resources to produce more energy than the building uses. Integrate a new building into an existing campus context through the use of natural materials and connections to site landscape features.

LRC 采用“零净能源”建筑方法，具有以下具体设 计目标：最大限度地减少供暖、制冷、通风、照明 和供水/废水的资源消耗，同时为居住者提供热舒 适度和控制能力。利用现场可再生能源生产比建筑 物使用更多的能源。通过使用天然材料和与场地景 观特征的联系，将新建筑融入现有的校园环境中。

In conclusion, improving by including the use of wind energy too as a source of renewable energy and maybe opening gaps between the two levels for stack ventilation. In addition, we can also add more tall trees around the vicinity of the school to add more shading to reduce the glare on the school.

Next we also feel that relying on too much software for calculations may be risky and it will be better if it’s possible to go down to the site and analyse the current weather conditions and also do mathematical calculations to confirm the data collected. This way, it helps to ensure maximum comfortability and improve the well being of the people using the Learning Resource Centre.

We realised that site analysis is key to ensuring the comfortability of the people using a building, because by making use of the natural elements (wind) advantageously, we can possess even better designs.

To reflect Tanjong Pagar as a district with deep connections to the water and the sea, the design centers Tanjong Pagar as the beacon of the area.

The tower is redeveloped into a special studying/ learning stairs, acting as a beacon of knowledge.

The canopy is then filled with water to give the impression to the people passing through they are underwater. At the third storey of the newly erected building, there is a public leg dipping pool installed there. This is to reflect the Japanese influence on the district that has slowly grown since the 1970s.

为了体现丹戎巴葛作为一个与水和海洋有着深厚联 系的地区，设计将丹戎巴葛作为该地区的灯塔。该 塔被重新开发为一个特殊的学习/学习楼梯，充当 知识的灯塔。然后天篷充满水，给经过的人留下他 们在水下的印象。新大楼的三楼设有公共腿部浸泡 池。这是为了反映自 20 世纪 70 年代以来日本对该 地区的影响力逐渐增长。

The area is well connected with ample transportation services to the rest of Singapore. The site alone is serviced by 13 bus services and is close to 3 MRT stations.

Rhino Photoshop Revit Lumion

The Hummingbird, a unique 8-shaped bird, is the subject of research on its feathers and home. The Hummingway project, named after the bird, aims to create an architectural study based on a tribe that values self-reliance and trees, with unique features like bridges.

Located on Saint Johns’ Island, the site evokes isolation and self-reliance, akin to the hummingbird.

蜂鸟是一种独特的 8 字形鸟类，是对其羽毛和栖息 地进行研究的对象。哈明威项目以鸟的名字命名， 旨在创建一个基于一个重视自力更生和树木的部落 的建筑研究，具有桥梁等独特特征。 该地点位于圣约翰岛，让人想起孤立和自力更生， 类似于蜂鸟。

Hummingbirds are tiny marvels of the avian world, known for their vibrant colors, remarkable agility, and unique flying abilities. These petite birds, often weighing less than a nickel, boast iridescent feathers that shimmer in the sunlight, displaying an array of vivid hues. Their wings beat at an astonishing rate, allowing them to hover, fly backward, and dart swiftly from flower to flower with precision.

In the morning, the collection of dry tea leaves are placed out to dry.

Those prepared for making are stored inside the building to begin roasting.

The tea leaves act as natural pesticide that keeps mosquitoes away.

The leaves are eventually roasted and make into delicious drink.

By the afternoon, the men come down to inspect site and repair any damages.

Interior Spaces

The interior is designed with inspiration from the hummingbrid’s original house design. The bridge designed here are of 2 angle deviations, the steeper one being a more introvert while the gentle gradient of the bridge is the people who are more extroverted and willing to talk to other guests. The building is divided into 5 levels.

The Main tea preparation is in the main room, where it is a tradition among the people living here to show. The drying of the tea leaves takes place in the middle of the storage, which is dry and where the sun shines in the most. The sleeping rooms are located the fartherest away from the main floor to provide a sense of privacywithin the building.

Water is used in the tea making process. This is shown case through small gaps within the facade, allowing the people to collect water and make tea.

The design of the Simulation Centre for the School of Health and Social Sciences required alot of research and case studying before we applied the final design onto the floor plate. The design of the simulation centre is split into public and private spaces. The public spaces are designed with different variations possible, one being a traditional architecture and the other being a modern design.

The design of the centre was simulated as much as possible to the outside hospital wards. Many examples, such as door design and arrows on the floor have been implemented for better wayfinding. Revit Enscape

Proposed to create a 2 story structure, with the ground level being a cafe while the 2 level is a library surrounded with sitting arrangement extended to the porch which is non airconditioned. The building’s exterior and both the wall and windows will be adopting old Peranakan designs. It will be in bright and pastel colour - a vivid hue of yellow, blue, green, red, or white. Whilst inside the first level will be a modern minimalistic building style. Pertaining to the second floor design, it will be decorated in bright colours on both the walls and the floor using Peranakan design tiles.

建议创建一个 2 层结构，底层是咖啡馆，而 2 层 是图书馆，周围有座位安排，延伸到没有空调的门 廊。该建筑的外观、墙壁和窗户都将采用古老的土 生华人设计。它将采用明亮柔和的颜色——鲜艳的 黄色、蓝色、绿色、红色或白色。而第一层内部则 是现代简约的建筑风格。至于二楼的设计，墙壁和 地板均采用土生华人设计的瓷砖，以明亮的色彩装 饰。

Separate from the hustle and bustle of the commercial mainlands, gated communities are highly secured and carefully planned residential areas.

Residents have the privilege of an abundance of open space in the form of playing fields and gardens for them to relax in the fresh open air and for their children to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. Moreover, they have all the ingredients to be a self-sufficient community including schools, shopping malls, recreation facilities, gymnasiums, and more. Gated communities are the closest things to a safe haven that we look forward to for some peace of mind after a long day at work.

封闭式社区远离商业大陆的喧嚣，是高度安全且精 心规划的住宅区。居民享有充足的开放空间，如 运动场和花园，让他们在新鲜的露天空气中放松身 心，让他们的孩子在安全健康的环境中成长。此 外，他们拥有成为自给自足社区的所有要素，包括 学校、购物中心、娱乐设施、体育馆等。封闭式社 区是最接近安全港的地方，我们期待在漫长的一天 工作后获得内心的平静。

2 main commercial zones is strategically located at the front of the site nearer to the main road as to be visible from the highway. By locating the commercial zones at the front will indirectly lessen the public access to the residential area which to be located further in towards the east. Another commercial zone to be placed at the center of the residential zone in the east to serve the residents who live around.

In the consideration of existing context, proposed main development ingress and egress will be from the main road and the northern access and that is creating the main spine to the site.

The east and southern access are proposed to be additional ingress/egress as to allow better flow of traffic through the site.

In consideration that the last few phases will be towards the east, these entrances will also function as a dedicated access to those phases and to allow flexibility for residents coming from all directions.

The Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) envisions the transformation of the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) into an Airport City. To support this vision, the development of the Airport Tung Chung Link (ATCL) will provide functional and infrastructural support to the airport city’s capacity. Additionally, it will take advantage of the opportunities presented by new infrastructures connected to the airport, such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB). The ATCL will consist of a three-runway system (3RS) with the goal of connecting the major developments within the airport city, namely SKYCITY and Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities (HKBCF). This connection will be achieved through an autonomous transportation system, along the eastern coast of the Chek Lap Kok Airport island into Tung Chung town centre.

With it’s proximity to the waterfront, the ATCL’s position along the eastern coast of the airport island allows it to be a serene respite from the bustling airport city and urbanized context of Tung Chung. Positioned amidst the tranquil coastal surroundings, the ATCL draws inspiration from it’s immediate context, with fluid forms reminiscent of the land it emerges from. It offers users the alternative to an otherwise purely functional mode of transportation, proposing it to be a unique escape from the fast-paced environment. With carefully designed amenities, such as scenic viewpoints and waterfront promenades users are afforded the opportunity of momentarily detaching themselves from the busy airport and urban setting and immersing themselves in nature. 由于靠近海滨，ATCL 位于机场岛东海岸，使其成为远离喧嚣的机场城市和东涌城市化环境的宁静休憩之所。 ATCL 坐落在宁静的沿海环境中，从其直接环境中汲取灵感，其流畅的形式让人想起它所来自的土地。它为用户提供了一种 替代纯粹功能性的交通方式，使其成为逃离快节奏环境的独特方式。凭借精心设计的设施，如观景台和海滨长廊，用 户有机会暂时脱离繁忙的机场和城市环境，沉浸在大自然中。
