We focus on helping clients produce user-centric, sustainable digital tools to build long-term relationships with their users and drive improved patient outcomes.

We have in-house programming expertise and access to digital tools supporting state-of-the-art software development for medical applications. In addition, we can draw on external expertise from an established network of digital business partners and freelance developers/consultants to support our clients when required.

PRICING-ACCESS FRAMEWORK FOR DIGITAL HEALTH TOOLS IN LOW AND MIDDLE-INCOME COUNTRIES (LMICS) CLIENT: INTERNATIONAL GLOBAL HEALTH ORGANISATION LOCATION: GENEVA, SWITZERLAND (REMOTE) DATE: 9 MONTHS (2022 - 2023)

Examining cost, pricing, financing and business models to develop pricing-access frameworks promoting equitable access to digital health tools in LMICs

Aim: This project analysed market-shaping activities to promote adoption and scaling of digital health tools relevant to diagnostics in LMICs. Background: Digital health tools provide opportunities to bridge gaps and expand access to diagnostics. However, the market framework to deploy, optimise and ensure effective access to these digital tools is nascent.

Methods: This project involved collating evidence from literature and engaging with public and private sector Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) with expertise in digital health interventions relevant to diagnostics. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted followed by a series of semi-structured interviews.

Deliverables: •

A strategic advisory report on pricing and access strategies for digital tools in LMICs, including a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model for implementing and operating digital health interventions.

Two reports analysing the application of the strategic advisory report findings on two use cases of interest to the organisation.

•

Recommendations on pricing-access models and activities to promote the adoption and scaling of digital health tools by the organisation.

DIGITAL PLATFORMS PROMOTING DIAGNOSTICS ACCESS IN LMICS CLIENT: INTERNATIONAL GLOBAL HEALTH ORGANISATION LOCATION: GENEVA, SWITZERLAND (REMOTE) DATE: 13 MONTHS (2021 - 2022)

Online marketplace, product information and market intelligence platforms for in vitro diagnostics access in low and middle-income countries (LMICs) Aim: To develop, deploy and operate digital interventions for connecting diagnostics manufacturers to buyers in low and middle-income countries (LMICs) and support ACT-A (Access to COVID-19 Tools Accelerator). The interventions included an online marketplace for procuring diagnostic products at prenegotiated prices, an online product information portal, and a digital market intelligence platform.

Background: ACT-A was a global collaborative initiative to accelerate the development, production, and equitable distribution of tools and resources to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The digital platforms were initiated through ACT-A with the long-term aim of improving diagnostics market access. Our role included: • • • • • •

Managing and developing the technical architecture in collaboration with an external development team.

Translating user requirements into technical specifications.

Generating and curating content, including SEO, for the platforms and outreach campaigns.

User support content development (helpdesk articles, tutorials, animations, and videos).

Building business processes, including analytics pipelines, DevOps pipelines, project management and user support.

User acceptance testing with stakeholders, including diagnostics economic operators, buyers, and consultants in target LMIC markets (LATAM, MENA, SSA, Asia-Pac).

DIGITAL INNOVATION PROCESS TRANSFORMATION CLIENT: GLOBAL PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY LOCATION: GERMANY DATE: 13 WEEKS (2018)

Digital health innovation process transformation in a global pharmaceutical company Aim: To streamline the digital innovation processes across a multinational pharmaceutical company.

Background: This project was managed by the Corporate Strategy function and requested by the Board.

Methods: The project was a collaborative initiative involving 45 people across the organisation working on digital health products in Operations, ClinOps, R&D, Go-to-Market (GTM), market access, IT, HR and Legal functions. Our role was to act as a “smart” PMO, coordinating the project plan and synthesising analyses on digital innovation initiatives, innovation processes, and benchmarking.

Deliverables: The data was used to identify areas of synergy and propose an organised structure around which digital innovations could coalesce across the company. The final recommendations were presented to the Board.

DIGITAL INNOVATION TRAINING COURSE DEVELOPMENT CLIENT: VARIOUS LOCATION: GLOBAL DATE: ONGOING (COMMENCED 2022)

Training course development on digital innovation for healthcare, pharmaceutical and medical device professionals.

Aim: To develop a series of modular training courses covering aspects of digital innovation for healthcare professionals that can be delivered online or face-to-face. The content is developed based on years of experience in digital innovation consulting, helping clients build capacity and reduce costs, increasing the chances of successfully implementing digital projects.

Developing learning objectives and designing interactive modules

Generating lightweight multimedia content, assessments and user support

Selecting a user-friendly learning management system and creating an omnichannel user engagement experience.
