Being the main designer and founder, I collaborated with others to help develop the project from concept towards an MVP, however, remained the only main contributor to all its aspects: business, design, and marketing.

People sit ~9.3 hours a day, especially in meetings at work, which puts their health at risk, compromising their health, happiness, and productivity.

70% of the US population suffers from stress at work.

Main Personas Employees at offices in walkable locations, with many meetings.

Behaviors: Works a stressful 9-6 job, wakes up early, walks the dog, and hits the gym at 7PM. Pain points: Long working hours, seated on desk and in meetings.

Needs: A way to disconnect during the workday, yet remain productive on tasks, so they don’t feel burnt out by 5PM.

This is much better than being in that conference room!

walkntalk was incubated into the Parsons ELab at CSI (Center for Social Innovation) in Chelsea, for 1 year, where I tested the app, renamed it, and explored growing it into a potential business.
