This zine documents "A House Shaped Dream", a creative placekeeping art project in Boston Chinatown in summer 2019. Participants wrote about their hopes and concerns for Chinatown on gingko leaves during the installation. In the zine, "I hope for Chinatown to stay", we paired these leaves with related research from Chinatown Community Land Trust's Healthy Lens Analysis. These zines were distributed to residents as well as local planning organizations involved in the Chinatown Community Master Plan 2020. By documenting and providing context on resident feedback, we hope to give these dreams continued life and sustained resonance in Chinatown.
