FALLFace FORWARD:
Top Aesthetic Trends & Treatments to Know
Personalized care for every face & every phase
by LIKE MEDIA TEAM
As the air turns cooler, skin often responds with dryness, sensitivity, and dullness. This shift calls for more than just a heavier moisturizer—it’s time for a full skincare reset. Med spas are adapting with treatments like barrier-repair facials, enzyme exfoliation, and pigment-correcting options such as lactic acid peels and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy to repair sun damage from the previous season. Clients are also being guided to update their home routines: switching to creamier cleansers, layering hyaluronic acid and ceramides, and continuing sunscreen use despite cloudier skies. The goal now is to reinforce hydration, calm inflammation, and fortify the skin against upcoming stressors.
Subtlety IS IN
Injectables 101: Baby Botox and Preventative Xeomin
Subtlety is in. More people are seeking refined, preventative treatments that allow for expression while maintaining smoother skin. Enter Baby Botox and low-dose Xeomin—neuromodulators designed to soften early fine lines and prevent deeper wrinkles from forming. Providers are embracing a philosophy rooted in restraint, with careful placement and custom dosing based on facial dynamics. This approach often appeals to those looking for a refreshed, not frozen, appearance. Cooler months provide an ideal opportunity for these treatments, with less UV exposure and plenty of time to evaluate outcomes before the end of the year. It’s a new era of injectables—calculated, customizable, and confidence-boosting.
What is a float spa? Initially, it is exactly as it sounds. You will float in a private pool of water. But it is so much more! Our spa doesn’t just have float pools. We offer several other services geared toward improving your physical and mental health.
RELEASE
Leave your worries at the door. Release your thoughts in your own private pool and choose the options that suit you to “Float Your Way”. You don’t need to bring anything, as shampoo, conditioner, towels, and washcloths are provided. We also offer a Couples Float (in a bigger pool for the two of you to enjoy). Or try our Fire and Ice Special that includes a dry sauna and cold plunge, which can also be used separately.
RELAX
Enjoy the calming effects of our zero-G massage chairs. Or relax using red light therapy or PEMF mat. Our reflexologist will put you to sleep with a session that works out the kinks from the knee to the toes.
REPEAT
Repeated and varied use of services will aid in overall health and mental well-being. Plus, we will be offering a frequent FLOAT card (to be used with ALL services). Our hope is that we can keep the costs lower to allow you to reap the healthy benefits of enjoying Release Float Spa on a continuous basis.
LAYERED, LONG-TERM RESULTS
Beyond the Facial: High-Tech Devices in Demand
Standard facials have evolved into sophisticated skin treatments powered by innovative tools. Technologies like microneedling with RF (radiofrequency), ultrasound lifting, LED light therapy, and oxygen domes are now mainstays in modern med spas. These services target skin laxity, texture, and inflammation with minimal invasiveness and cumulative effects. As seasonal UV levels drop, it’s an excellent time for treatments that involve mild sensitivity postprocedure. Med spas are also combining devices in curated protocols tailored to skin type, lifestyle, and specific goals, often delivering visible improvements within a few sessions. For those seeking more than surface-level glow, modern devices offer layered, long-term results.
less about LOOKING DIFFERENT,more about IMPROVING WHAT’S ALREADY THERE.
Lips, Lasers & Lashes
For clients wanting fast, visible results, a trio of trending services continues to deliver: lip enhancement, lash lifts, and laser resurfacing. Lip fillers today are all about balance—restoring symmetry and hydration without altering natural contours. Lash lifts provide an instant brightening effect with no downtime, while fractional lasers like Halo or Clear + Brilliant help address pigmentation, fine lines, and enlarged pores. Med spas are encouraging service stacking but with strategic timing: lasers first, then injectables, with healing windows in between. The end result is polished, camera-ready skin and features that feel naturally enhanced.
The Rise of Regenerative Beauty
Rather than masking skin issues, regenerative treatments work with the body’s own repair processes to restore tone, elasticity, and vitality.
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin), collagen induction therapy, and exosome applications are leading this category, delivering gradual but powerful changes. These treatments are especially effective during lower-sunlight months when the skin can heal without environmental interference. Clients are gravitating toward results that build over time, favoring thicker skin, improved texture, and a glow that stems from increased function, not filler. Regenerative beauty reflects a shift in aesthetics – it’s less about looking different, and more about improving and enhancing what’s already there.
Skin Cycling 2.0
The concept of skin cycling—rotating active ingredients like retinoids, exfoliants, and hydrators—has gained popularity for balancing results with skin health. Now, it’s getting a high-tech upgrade. Providers are using AI-based apps and digital diagnostics to tailor cycling schedules based on each person’s real-time skin condition. By identifying inflammation, barrier damage, or product overload, these tools allow for smarter scheduling and better ingredient selection. The result? Fewer reactions, more glow, and routines that feel as customized as the treatments offered in the clinic. Skin Cycling 2.0 supports both home care education and long-term client satisfaction.
Exosome Therapy: The New PRP?
Exosomes—tiny cellular messengers packed with growth factors—are making waves as the next generation of regenerative skincare. Applied after microneedling or laser procedures, these vesicles accelerate recovery and significantly enhance collagen production. Unlike PRP (platelet-rich plasma), exosomes are lab-developed for consistency and contain concentrated signals that prompt the skin to regenerate. Early adopters report faster healing, improved elasticity, and a brighter complexion. As more med spas add this option to their menu, exosomes are quickly becoming a go-to for clients seeking deeper, more comprehensive results from their treatments.
Customized Skincare with AI & Scanning Tech
Technology is transforming how med spas evaluate and treat skin. Devices that scan for hydration, elasticity, pore size, and sun damage allow providers to create highly personalized plans, down to product recommendations and treatment timing. This data-driven approach improves trust, encourages consistency, and helps track measurable progress over time. AI tools enhance consultations and ensure that no guesswork is involved, making each visit more effective and efficient. For clients, this means smarter skincare and stronger results.
This season isn’t about reinvention—it’s about refinement. As med spas adopt advanced tools and refined philosophies, clients are empowered to care for their skin in ways that are personalized, restorative, and long-lasting. From emerging technologies to minimalist approaches, there’s something for everyone at any stage of their skincare journey. The next step isn’t a trend, it’s a tailored strategy – and the best time to start is now.

The Wellness Reset
Let go of what drains you
Return to what restores you
BY LIKE MEDIA TEAM
There’s something about the fall season—the golden light, the slower mornings, the way trees release what no longer serves—that quietly encourages us to do the same. While the world keeps moving at full speed, this time of year offers a natural invitation to pause, recalibrate, and move with more intention.
Instead of chasing perfection or overhauling every aspect of life, what if this season were about tuning in? Not from pressure, but from purpose. Not to perform wellness, but to live it, one small, meaningful choice at a time.
It’s a chance to embrace grounded rituals and sustainable routines. To shift from burnout into balance. Be it walking more, sleeping better, supporting your nervous system, or sipping tea in stillness, this fall is the perfect time to reset with clarity, compassion, and a little less noise.
Small Shifts, Big Impact
Habits that stick
Wellness isn’t built through grand gestures; it’s shaped by the everyday moments we repeat. Seasonal transitions offer a unique opportunity to create routines that ground and energize without overwhelming.
One effective way to build consistency is through habit stacking, which involves linking new habits to familiar ones. For example, drink a glass of water while your coffee brews, or add five minutes of stretching after brushing your teeth. These subtle links reduce resistance and help wellness practices stick.
Daily walks in cool, crisp air benefit more than just your body. They’ve been tied to improved mood, creativity, and focus. Adjusting sleep routines to match earlier sunsets by dimming lights earlier or avoiding screens can help recalibrate your natural rhythm and deepen rest.
Hydration plays a vital role this time of year. Cooler temperatures often dull our thirst, yet water is essential for digestion, detoxification, and energy. Warm herbal teas, lemon water, and broths support hydration and seasonal comfort. These aren’t flashy habits, but done consistently, they lay a strong foundation for wellness.
Your Nervous System Needs a Break
Constant digital stimulation has made nervous system overload a common experience. Our bodies weren’t built for nonstop alerts and pressure. This season encourages a step out of fight-or-flight and into something steadier.
Breathwork offers a fast, free reset. Practices like box breathing, 4-7-8, and long exhales activate the parasympathetic nervous system, calming both body and mind. It’s an easy way to introduce pauses into a packed day.
Somatic movement, such as swaying, shaking, or gentle stretching, can release tension held in the body. These practices aren’t about physical output but about helping your system settle.
Red light therapy and vagus nerve stimulation are also gaining popularity. Red light supports tissue repair and mood, especially during darker months. Stimulating the vagus nerve through humming, cold water, or deep breathing has been shown to reduce anxiety and improve digestion. Many local wellness centers now offer access to these tools in classes or seasonal reset packages.
You don’t need to do everything at once. Just choose a few practices that return you to a sense of calm and connection.
Hormone Health at Any Age
Hormone shifts can impact sleep, energy, metabolism, and mood, but they’re often overlooked until symptoms become disruptive. Proactively checking in can offer clarity and relief.
Hormones like cortisol, estrogen, and progesterone influence much more than we realize. More people are turning to naturopathic doctors and functional medicine practitioners to explore underlying imbalances. One commonly used tool is the DUTCH test, which provides a detailed picture of hormonal patterns and stress responses.
While testing can be helpful, you can also tune in by tracking mood, energy, and sleep changes over time. Supporting hormone health through small shifts like cutting back on caffeine, adding magnesium, or balancing meals can make a noticeable difference.
Ultimately, balanced hormones support everything else. When internal systems are regulated, the rest of life feels more manageable.
Stillness has value
Wellness, Not Hustle
Modern culture tends to equate productivity with worth, but wellness doesn’t thrive in constant motion. It flourishes in rhythm, rest, and intention.
Let this time of year remind you that rest isn’t indulgent—it’s essential. Stillness has value. A cup of tea in silence, ten minutes of journaling, or a walk without distractions can anchor you far more than rushing through a checklist.
These quiet rituals build emotional resilience. As holiday demands increase, they require a stable internal rhythm. Simple practices like lighting a candle or stepping outside with awareness can signal your nervous system to settle.
Letting go of hustle culture doesn’t mean abandoning goals. It means redefining progress as something that aligns with your values, capacity, and well-being. That realignment alone can create the space your body and mind have been asking for.
Wellness trends spike each season, and while some are beneficial, others can add unnecessary stress. This time of year brings increased interest in infrared saunas, IV therapy, and intermittent fasting. So what’s worth considering?
Infrared saunas are widely used to boost circulation, reduce inflammation, and improve mood, particularly in cooler, darker months. Many local spas offer them as part of wellness memberships or seasonal specials.
IV therapy, often marketed as an immunity or energy booster, can be helpful when recovering from illness or fatigue. However, it’s not a substitute for nutrient-dense food. Think of it as a support tool, not a primary solution.
Time-restricted eating—like 12 to 14-hour overnight fasts— may benefit digestion and metabolic health. But fasting doesn’t work for everyone. If it creates stress, worsens fatigue, or disrupts your hormones, it may be better to focus on gentle nourishment instead.
The bottom line: no single practice defines wellness. Choose what fits your life and body. Tools should lighten your load, not complicate it.
A Reset That Lasts
You don’t need a closet full of activewear, expensive supplements, or a perfect plan to feel better right now. What you need is rhythm, intention, and space to reconnect with what supports you.
Maybe that looks like five minutes of breathing. Maybe it’s a walk around the block. Maybe it’s a slower morning or an earlier bedtime. Wellness doesn’t demand perfection. It asks for presence.
Choose what nourishes you, and let everything else fall away.

Upgrade Labs’ Ammortal Chamber: The Ultimate Reset
Redefining recovery and performance in Coeur d’Alene
Tby LIKE MEDIA TEAM
he future of wellness isn’t coming, it’s already here. And in Coeur d’Alene, it’s arriving in the form of the Ammortal Chamber, the newest and most advanced offering from Upgrade Labs in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This isn't just another biohacking trend—it’s a sensory, full-body reset that’s unlike anything else available in the Inland Northwest.
Paul and Kayleen Tinker, owners of Upgrade Labs (Coeur d’Alene), describe the chamber as a complete nervous system reboot. In just 25 minutes, users are immersed in synchronized red light therapy, PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic fields),
vibration, sound frequencies, guided breathwork, and hydrogen inhalation. The result? A deeply calming experience that clients say helps melt away stress, anxiety, and even physical tension.
“My monkey brain went silent by the end of the session,” one client said. Another described it as “a long, warm hug.” But the feedback isn’t just emotional, it’s measurable. Paul shared that his resting heart rate dropped by 10% and his heart rate variability increased by 50% in just two weeks of regular use. That’s the kind of transformation that’s hard to ignore.
The Tinkers first encountered the Ammortal Chamber at the Biohacking Conference two years ago. Kayleen was so moved by her session that she became a testimonial for the company on the spot. At the time, their CDA location hadn’t even opened its doors, and the Ammortal wasn’t yet part of the official Upgrade Labs franchise. But after Paul experienced it again, they knew they had to bring it to North Idaho. Today, Coeur d’Alene is the first and only franchise in the Northwest to offer this revolutionary service.
“People are burnt out. They’re inflamed, exhausted, and overstimulated, and the Ammortal helps with all of that,” Kayleen explains. “It’s one of the most impactful tools we’ve ever used for stress and inflammation relief.”
While the Ammortal Chamber takes center stage, it’s far from the only innovation happening at Upgrade Labs. The team has expanded its offerings to include NanoVi, which assists in protein repair and cellular recovery, and OxeFit Movement Trainers. This high-tech fitness platform merges strength, cardio, and fun with
online gameplay. Their flexible membership model now starts at just $49/month, with AI-powered fitness and unlimited access tiers that make wellness more accessible than ever.
Results are not only felt, they’re tracked. Through InBody scans, biometric tracking, and upcoming integrations with wearables like the Oura Ring, members are guided toward measurable improvements in health and longevity. Later this year, the new Upgrade Labs app will bring it all together, offering personalized protocols, supplement suggestions, and a proprietary Upgrade Labs Age Score to track progress over time.
One of the most inspiring transformations came from a client who participated in a recent 90-Day Challenge. In just three months, they lost 18.5 pounds, reduced body fat by 5.6%, and dropped visceral fat by an incredible 63 cm². Since joining in July 2024, they’ve lost over 51 pounds, reshaping not only their body but their entire lifestyle.
As for what’s next, Paul and Kayleen are focused on building community through collaboration, education, and wellness-driven events. They continue to support local fundraisers and nonprofits by donating service packages, firmly believing that the gift of better health is one of the most valuable things they can give.
For anyone curious about health optimization but unsure where to start, their message is simple: try one thing. Experience the impact. Let your body do the rest.
Upgrade Labs is offering readers a complimentary intro session, including a cryotherapy experience, so that you can feel the results for yourself. To schedule, call 208.620.7134.

EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS THROUGH CARE, EDUCATION, AND SUPPORT
by LIKE MEDIA TEAM
Open Arms Real Choices Clinic in Hayden, Idaho, has been a trusted source of care and guidance for individuals and families since opening its doors to the community in 2001. As a local pregnancy clinic, Open Arms provides free pregnancy support in a confidential and welcoming environment, where every client is treated with compassion and respect.
“At Open Arms Real Choices Clinic, we are dedicated to empowering women and families facing unexpected pregnancies,” the team shares. “Through compassionate care, education, and practical support, we provide a safe space for individuals to explore their options and make informed, lifeaffirming decisions.”
The clinic was initially founded in 1997 by a group of community members with a shared desire to offer meaningful support to local families. From those early days of planning and prayer to today’s modern facility, the organization has grown steadily, providing care to hundreds of clients each year.
Open Arms offers a wide range of help for new and expecting parents, including medical services, education, parenting resources, and practical support, all at no cost. These include pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasounds, STI/STD testing and treatment, options counseling, parenting and life skills classes, early childhood development screenings, and more. A children’s boutique and Baby Bundle program help meet everyday needs, while referrals connect clients to additional community resources.
“Our services are most often sought by local women and men who are navigating an unexpected pregnancy or looking for extra support during pregnancy,” the team explains. “We’re here to walk alongside them with resources and support when it matters most.”
The clinic takes pride in offering a judgment-free space. “Our staff is trained to listen with compassion, offer support without pressure, and meet each person where they are—with dignity, respect, and confidentiality.”
“Our staff is trained to listen with compassion, offer support without pressure, and meet each person where they are—with dignity, respect, and confidentiality.”
In 2024 alone, Open Arms served more than 2,200 client visits, provided over 240 pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, and led hundreds of educational sessions. A recent expansion has added an event center, education rooms, and a lactation consultation space, all designed to enhance client care further.
Open Arms also offers specialized support for fathers and recently welcomed a grief and loss counselor to assist families experiencing miscarriage or child loss. Community outreach events, such as the spring “Overstocked and Ready to Share,” provide resources to hundreds of local families.
The clinic partners with local schools, healthcare providers, and non–profits to ensure comprehensive care. Their Healthy Relationships Education program, led by a community nurse, equips students with the tools for making healthy decisions.
Community members can support Open Arms by volunteering, donating baby supplies, or attending the annual Celebration Dinner & Fundraiser this year, scheduled for November 14, 2025, at the Coeur d’Alene Resort. Looking ahead, the clinic will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026 with events and stories honoring its legacy of care.

The Heart of Coeur d’Alene: Honoring Our First Responders
REMEMBERING THE HEROES WE LOST AND THE HOPE THAT CARRIES US FORWARD
On June 29, 2025, Coeur d’Alene was shaken.
Two of our bravest—Battalion Chiefs Frank Harwood and John Morrison—answered a call that should have been routine. It wasn’t.
An ambush stole their lives and left another hero, Engineer David Tysdal, fighting for his own.
The weight of that day will never entirely leave us. But neither will what happened next.
Because when tragedy struck, this city did what it always does.
It rose.
Firefighters from across Idaho showed up—not just to fill shifts, but to stand shoulder to shoulder with their brothers and sisters in Coeur d’Alene. Engines rolled into town not as strangers, but as family. Grief was heavy, but so was the bond that carried them through.
And the people responded.
Businesses turned work into worship. Pizza shops, builders, and mom-and-pop storefronts opened their doors and gave every cent to the families who had lost so much. High school
classmates rallied, raising thousands with nothing but heart and hustle. Musicians picked up guitars, and barbecues lit up, not in celebration, but in solidarity. Even those who had never worn a uniform found ways to carry the weight.
A flag waved.
A donation dropped into a bucket.
A prayer whispered in the quiet.
And as the funeral procession moved down Interstate-90, Coeur d’Alene lined the overpasses. Flags in hand. Hands over hearts. Salutes held high. In silence, the message thundered: You are not forgotten. You never will be.
That is the spirit of this place.
That is the spirit of Coeur d’Alene.
Scripture says, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13). These men lived that verse, not with words, but with action.
We cannot erase the darkness of that day. But we can remember the light that followed—thousands of small acts of love, of sacrifice, of honor—that together became something unshakable.
For our first responders, there will never be enough words. No headline, no story, no memorial can measure the debt we owe. But we can live in a way that honors them—by supporting those who serve, by standing with the families who grieve, and by never taking for granted the men and women who run toward danger so the rest of us can live in peace.
And we can let their sacrifice stir something deeper as we remember. To not just honor courage with flags and donations, but to turn our hearts toward the One who gives life, hope, and healing. In the face of tragedy, faith is not an escape—it is an anchor.
Coeur d’Alene’s heart has always been strong. But in this moment, it beat louder than ever.
And for the heroes we lost, it will keep beating—forever.
Thousands of small acts of love, of sacrifice, of honor—that together became something unshakable.

Back-to-School Reset: 3 ways to simplify your routine
1 2 3
Establish a command center. Designate a space near the kitchen or entryway for backpacks, lunchboxes, permission slips, and calendars. Use wall hooks, trays, and labeled folders to keep everything organized and in one spot.
Streamline morning prep by preparing lunches, packing bags, and laying out outfits the night before. Keeping a weekly meal planner or a shared family calendar can also help reduce lastminute stress before the bus arrives.
Create a homework-friendly zone. Set up a quiet, clutter-free workspace stocked with essentials like pencils, chargers, and paper. Even a small nook can become a productive spot with the right lighting and structure.
A few simple systems can transform back-to-school chaos into a smooth, steady rhythm that lasts throughout the entire season.

CROC COATINGS: FLOORS THAT DO MORE
Serving residential and commercial clients across the Inland Northwest by LIKE MEDIA TEAM
Jim and Kelley Hobart began the next exciting chapter in their lives 15 years ago. Inspired by the beauty of North Idaho, the abundance of outdoor opportunities, and the friendly people, they moved into their custom home in Hayden in 2010. They introduced Croc Coatings in 2020, bringing the revolutionary Penntek Evolution flooring system to the area, so that others could have a new choice in premium flooring solutions. Since then, they have installed over 1,000 Croc floors for residents and businesses.
“We started the business with a mission to provide extraordinary floors and service and have grown as a result of delivering on this promise,” affirms Jim. “However, it’s not all about growth; it’s about serving a true need and delivering exceptional service to our customers.” This is reflected in the over 285 Google 5-Star reviews they have received.
Croc Coatings provides a durable, beautiful, and long-lasting flooring system. It also comes with a lifetime warranty against fading and discoloration, making it ideal for outdoor use. “Done in one day, it's one of the best home or business improvement projects ever!” Jim notes. Croc Coatings was voted 'Best of 2025' for 'Garage Floor Coatings' — a testament to their commitment to excellence.
In addition to residential work, Croc Coatings has significantly expanded into commercial flooring throughout the Inland Northwest. Their Penntek Industrial Flooring Systems deliver superior performance in high-demand settings. Recent projects include a 38,000-square-foot

Creating Meaningful Moments
How to connect
by MERCEDES AND ANASTASIA KORNGUT
Have you ever asked yourself, ‘How can I connect with my child or teen?’ We are two teens, aged seventeen and fifteen. Below, we share activities that will bring enjoyment and connection for all ages year-round.
Catch Up Daily
We all have busy lives and schedules. Find time intentionally to catch up on one another’s lives, perhaps in the car, around the dinner table, or during a brisk walk.
• What are you looking forward to this week?
• What brought you a small bit of happiness today?
• What are three things that you are grateful for?
• What is one funny moment that you experienced recently?
• What is a song that you’ve been loving lately?
Cook or Bake
Traditions are an important part of connecting with one another and to our past. Recall a traditional dish from your childhood or culture. It could be a special dish passed down through generations or a delicious pancake or cookie recipe. Find the joy in creating a tasty treat together with your child, and teach them this recipe! Then, enjoy the fruit of your labor (who doesn’t love good food?).
Take Downtime
Unplug together with a game! Put all devices away and take some time to relax. Enjoy a board game, card game, or one of our personal favorites, Mission: Small Bits of Happiness, which was designed by both of us. Mission: Small Bits of Happiness features 100 unique and fun activities to do to feel happier daily, allowing you and your child to bond and learn what brings happiness. You can find it here SmallBitsofHappiness.com/product/missionsmall-bits-of-happiness.
Build A Care Kit
Since helping others boosts feelings of purpose and satisfaction, create a care kit. With a budget of $10-15 (or whatever you decide), head to a local grocery store and compile a small care kit of necessities.
NEW LEAF NURSERY
At New Leaf Nursery, their goal is to make gardening accessible to everyone. Whether that’s sharing their knowledge, passing on savings to their customers or simply providing a space that inspires, they are committed to help you create your most beautiful outdoor environment. A GROUNDED APPROACH TO WEDDING DAY WELLNESS AND BEAUTY
by LIKE MEDIA TEAM
Your wedding day is a celebration of love, connection, and the beginning of something beautiful. It’s also a moment where you deserve to feel completely confident, from the inside out. Preparing your health, beauty, and mindset ahead of time isn’t about chasing perfection—it’s about honoring yourself during a season filled with emotion, joy, and anticipation. With the right approach, you’ll not only look amazing, you’ll feel grounded, present, and fully ready to enjoy every second.
Glow From the Inside Out
Confidence on your wedding day isn’t about achieving a flawless standard—it’s about feeling like the best version of yourself. When you feel good, you look good. And when you’re at peace with your preparation, your joy becomes undeniable.
Start with Skin
Healthy skin is the foundation of your wedding day glow. Establish a consistent routine at least six months in advance, incorporating gentle exfoliation, hydration, and daily SPF. Schedule regular facials with a licensed esthetician and stay loyal to what works— avoid experimenting with new products right before the big day.
Hair Care is Self-Care
If you plan to color or cut your hair, do it well in advance to allow time for any adjustments. Weekly deep conditioning masks, heat protection, and regular trims will help restore shine and strength to your hair. Book your stylist early for both the trial and wedding day, and bring your veil or accessories to the trial to see the whole look come together.
Make Your Makeup Work
Your wedding makeup should reflect your natural style. Schedule a trial at least a few weeks in advance, and take photos in both natural and indoor light to ensure you love how it translates on camera. Ask your artist for products that are long-wear and photo-friendly, and don’t forget to test your final look with your whole outfit, including accessories.
Strength Over Stress
Rather than chasing a specific size or look, prioritize movement that supports your mood and posture. Strength training, walking, or yoga can reduce stress and increase confidence leading up to the big day. Make movement part of your weekly rhythm, and let it be something that grounds you rather than pressures you.
Eat to Feel Your Best
A whole-foods-based approach—rich in leafy greens, lean proteins, healthy fats, and fresh fruit—will naturally support energy, skin clarity, and digestion. Stay hydrated with water and herbal teas, and reduce processed snacks and added sugars that can lead to bloating or fatigue. The goal isn’t to restrict—it’s to nourish.
What No One Tells You About Post-Wedding skin
You’ve prepped for months. But what happens the day after?
1. Puffy eyes + pillow creases You’ll be tired. Store a gel eye mask in the fridge and apply with a cup of coffee in hand.
2. Dry lips + dehydration Champagne is great. Water is better. Add electrolytes to bounce back fast.
3. Breakouts from stress relief You made it. Your body will react. Use a calming mask, not a harsh scrub.
The wedding is one day. Your skin still needs love after it’s over.
Protect Your Peace
Planning a wedding can get overwhelming. Schedule time each week to unplug, breathe, and center yourself. Whether it’s journaling, a walk without your phone, or reading something non-wedding related, that mental reset is essential. Your emotional well-being is just as important as your beauty routine.
Sleep Like It Matters—Because It Does
Sleep is when your body resets, your skin repairs, and your emotions regulate. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, prioritize 7–8 hours of quality sleep each night. It will do more for your appearance than any last-minute beauty product ever could.
Don’t Skip the Grooming Timeline
Timing matters. Schedule your brow shaping and waxing three to five days in advance. Get your spray tan one to two days before the event. Plan your final facial at least one week in advance, and complete any injectable or new treatments four to six weeks out. Don’t gamble with last-minute changes—test everything in advance to avoid surprises.
Encourage Your Partner to Prep Too
They’ll be in the photos, too! A fresh haircut, skincare routine, or even a stress-relieving massage can help your partner feel just as confident
and ready. It’s a shared celebration, and shared preparation only strengthens your connection.
You Define Beautiful
You don’t need to fit a mold to look radiant. The beauty that shines on your wedding day comes from alignment—when your health, mindset, and energy come together in harmony. Let go of pressure and lean into preparation that feels authentic.
Presence Over Perfection
What your guests will remember is how you lit up the room, how you looked at your partner, and how happy you felt on the big day. When you prioritize yourself—not for vanity, but for wellness—you permit yourself to be fully present. That presence is the most beautiful thing of all.
No matter how elaborate your plans or simple your ceremony, the most unforgettable part of your wedding day will always be how you felt. When you’re rested, nourished, supported, and calm, that confidence radiates in every photo and memory. Prioritize what makes you feel beautiful—not just on the outside, but throughout your whole being. The most powerful glow you can wear is one that comes from true alignment, peace, and love.

Where the Light Finds You
Wedding days stretch from soft morning light to golden hour to after-dark flash. Your look should shift with it. Avoid SPF with flashback. Choose makeup that performs well under both warm and cool lighting conditions. Ask your photographer when your portraits will be taken, and prepare for that light. Weather sets the mood, but lighting defines the memory.
You’ll remember how it looked—but you’ll also remember how it smelled.
Here’s how to create a signature scent moment that lingers in all the right ways:
What you’ll need:
• One soft, long-wear personal fragrance
• A room spray or oil diffuser for your prep space
• A scented detail: veil, handkerchief, vow book, or bouquet ribbon
What to do:
• Put on your fragrance before getting dressed so it lasts through the day.
• Spray the room or turn on the diffuser about an hour before you arrive to keep it fresh but not overpowering.
• Lightly scent your chosen detail so it will bring back memories whenever you smell it again.
Providing a holistic approach to aesthetics, health and wellness for 15 years, Signature Aesthetics specializes in injectables, fillers, body contouring, skin rejuvenation, lasers, vascular treatments, skin peels, wellness, and pain management.

Walk, jog, or rent a bike for a golden-hour ride under a canopy of changing leaves. Bonus: Atlas Mill Park has beach access if you want to dip your toes in the season’s last warmth.

This fall, skip the crowds and experience a different side of Coeur d’Alene—one where the pace is slower, the streets are golden, and everything you need is right around the corner. Riverstone and the Atlas Waterfront offer more than a change of scenery. They provide a fresh perspective on the season.
Skip the big-box chaos and spend Thanksgiving weekend supporting small businesses throughout Coeur d’Alene. On Small Business Saturday (November 29, 2025), downtown and Midtown shops showcase festive displays, one-of-akind gifts, and seasonal specials. After browsing, grab a warm drink from a nearby café and enjoy the holiday lights along Sherman Avenue—a cozy way to celebrate the season and shop local.
