WHY DO YOU NEED A FAN? Ceiling fans are an economical option for cooling and distributing warm air. On average (when set at a mediumspeed setting) our DC ceiling fans will only use 8 cents worth of power a day. A dramatic contrast to air conditioning which can cost up to $11 per day!

THE DC REVOLUTION
PITCH PERFECT
The DC revolution does for fans what LED has done for lights. DC motors are compact and much smaller than traditional AC motors. Because of that change, more modern designs are now possible. With improved styling, greater energy efficiency and motors that operate silently, you can now fit a DC fan in your bedroom, confident that you will sleep well with a cool breeze and no motor noise.
Blade pitch is an important feature of ceiling fans. The higher the degree of blade pitch, the more air the fan is able to scoop. Our latest fans have up to 18° of pitch, move large volumes of air with ease and circulate it throughout a room. Air movement is calculated in m3/min.
FOR ALL SEASONS Fans are not just for summer. They move the warm air that rises to the ceiling back to ground level, improving ambient room temperature. Simply use the Forward/Reverse button to set the fan blades to a clockwise direction for winter mode or an anticlockwise direction in summer.
MORE TO LOVE All our DC fans come with a multi-function remote which allows you to control fan speed, direction of air flow and, if your fan has one, control the light. DC fans are super energy efficient and have very low power consumption, so you can reduce your cooling/heating costs all year round. Low speed: 3–5 watts used. High speed: 30–45 watts used.

CEILING FAN TIPS • C hoosing a fan for your room often starts with matching the scale and style. Before you settle on the look, consider the height of your ceiling and the recommended clearance of 2.1m from floor to the lowest point of the fan.
• N ot suitable for use with automation systems. Fans need an on/off wall switch to function correctly with the supplied remote control. Will not work with 2-way switching. Ensure no other appliances are on the same circuit.
• Q uestions to answer before I make a choice based on looks: Am I replacing an existing light with a fan and still require a centrally mounted light? Is the ceiling sloping or raked? How much height do I have? How big is the room?
• A llow clearance to the wall or ceiling if there is a steep pitch. This reduces turbulence that may impact on fan stability.
• M ount central in the room; fans are less effective when mounted in the corner of a room. It can create turbulence and cause the fan to wobble. Have at least 500mm clearance from any walls.
• T aking care to assemble the fan correctly and install as per the instructions will maximise your satisfaction from this quality product and provide years of trouble free service.
