For the sake of simplicity, let’s say it is in Donaueschingen, seat of the House of Fürstenberg in the Black Forest. From there, the Danube flows 2,888 kilometres through ten European countries until it reaches the Black Sea. It shapes the urban landscape of more European cities and links more countries together than any other river. Discover the Danube cities of Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Belgrade and Bucharest, and soak up their interesting history, with nicko cruises.
