MOBILE CRANES
Tadano launches new AC 4.110-1 and AC 5.120-1 The heart of both cranes is a reinforced 60-m main boom compared to the predecessors that provide extraordinary lifting capacities, particularly when fully extended. A tight minimum radius, greater lifting height, and 84.7° boom angle make it possible to work closer to the crane. This makes both crane models even better suited to work sites where space is at a premium, as well as to work at large heights. As a compact four-axle unit, the AC 4.110-1 is manoeuvrable on tight roads and work sites. As a light five-axle crane, the AC 5.120-1 is ideal for routes where staying under specific axle load limits is crucial. Thanks to their shared superstructure, 80% of the counterweights are fully interchangeable between both cranes – this applies to the boom extensions as well, with one of them being a new extension with reduced complexity. A powerhouse on four axles The heart of the AC 4.110-1 is a reinforced 60-metre main boom that enables the crane to achieve extraordinary lifting capacities in its class. The AC 4.110-1 remains at a slender width of 2.75 metres even with 24 tons of counterweight. The crane maintains a counterweight
tail swing radius of only 3.8 metres even with the full 30.4 tons of counterweight. Thanks to the superstructure shared with the AC 5.120-1, 80% of the counterweights for both cranes are interchangeable, as are the boom extensions, including one with reduced complexity. The Lift Adjuster reliably reduces load swinging during lifting and lowering. A versatile all-rounder Thanks to a reinforced 60-meter main boom, the AC 5.120-1 reaches extraordinary lifting capacities. The crane can travel on roads while remaining under a ten-tonne axle load limit and a total weight of 48
tons. The AC 5.120-1 remains at a slender width of 2.75 metres even with 24 tons of counterweight and maintains a counterweight tail swing radius of only 4 metres with the full 35.4 tons of counterweight. Thanks to the superstructure shared with the AC 4.110-1, 80% of the counterweights for both cranes are interchangeable, as are the boom extensions, including one with reduced complexity. The Lift Adjuster reliably reduces load swinging during lifting and lowering.
