Garbage Collection occurs every other week. Each bag of garbage requires a garbage tag, and a maximum of three bags of garbage can be put at the curb per garbage day. Location: 157859 7th Line, Meaford Hours of operation: Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sundays: Closed The Leaf and Yard waste depot is open on Statutory Holidays. Fees: Yard waste drop off is free for Meaford residents. Commercial rates will apply for businesses. You can drop off household hazardous waste 8 days per year. All materials must be in containers/able to be identified. Please bring photo identification to show the attendant. Please ensure you bring a tax receipt for proof of property ownership if your photo ID does not prove residency in Meaford. Commercial, farming, institutional and industrial material will not be accepted.
