B
ased in Dunwoody, Emily G’s Jams of Love has grown from its humble beginning of selling four jam flavors at a farmers market in 2008, to currently selling 18 jams, sauces and relish, with a presence in 28 states. Despite the expanding demand, owner Jennifer Burns still makes the jams using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and tests recipes in her home kitchen. With such a wide variety of jams and sauces, Emily G’s Jams provides that extra ingredient to make a dish stand out. Sauces
such as Curry Ketchup, Pepper Vinegar Sauce and Three Pepper Relish can complement a variety of meat dishes. And while jams
and jellies are known in the South for being a biscuit spread staple, Emily G’s line includes unique flavors such as blackberry vanilla, cranberry port, pear honey and jalapeno raspberry. The products can be found in several destinations around Dunwoody with online ordering as well. One establishment with a wide range of inventory is d’Vine Wine Bar and Shop located in Dunwoody Village. Named one of the best wine bars in Atlanta, d’Vine features tasty bistro bites and a “Wall of Wine” lined by over 600 bottles. Part retail wine store and part romantic bistro, they feature more than 60 wines by the glass. Since wine, jams and cheese are such a perfect pairing, guests can sample Emily G’s off the menu as well. Additionally, you can find the Emily G’s Pepper Vinegar Sauce on every table at Farm Burger, located in the Georgetown Shopping Center and at the franchise’s additional locations throughout Metro Atlanta. Since Farm Burger prides itself in providing local and fresh provisions, it mirrors Emily G’s mis-
sion of “We do everything for the love of food. We believe that what we eat should be prepared simply and naturally with the best ingredients available.” 24
