StretchLab to Open in Paradise Valley
StretchLab, an assisted stretch concept that aims to identify tightness and imbalances in the body by creating a customized stretching routine for its clients, will open a new Paradise Valley location at 4740 E. Shea Blvd. in the first quarter of this year. The new studio will have 10 beds and will offer group classes, as well as one-on-one assisted stretches (with options of a 25-minute targeted stretch or a 50-minute all-body stretch). StretchLab.com
Powerhouse Feminist Icons Help Local Women in Need
Local nonprofit Soroptimist International of Phoenix (SIP) is celebrating 100 years of the worldwide Soroptimist International organization by directly serving and empowering local Arizona women. One hundred women will receive cash awards, access to community service programs, and mentoring by the members of the nonprofit. The organization is focused on gender equality, diversity, education, and economic opportunities. Past members include Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, retired Associate Justice, U.S. Supreme Court.
