ANDREW BUCHANAN Former US Navy Seal Andrew Buchanan proudly calls Laguna Niguel home where he resides with his wife and two young sons. As a Navy Seal, he honorably served for 10-years (1990-2000), where he was a combat-decorated veteran with multiple deployments covering European, Middle Eastern, African & Caribbean theatres. In 1997, he was selected to brief the Secretary of State, select members of Congress, and Chairman-Joint Chiefs of Staff on classified Special Operations combat missions. More recently, Andrew has worked in the financial services industry at investment banks Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, and most recently as a Managing Regional Director at Natixis Investment Managers, a global asset management firm. He finds time for a variety of charitable efforts including serving on the board of Special Operations Support Foundation and supports Warrior National Foundation, Navy SEAL Foundation, The Honor Foundation, and Tunnel to Towers which helps families of first responders. One of his great passions is baseball and he volunteers his time as a coach, mentor, and board member helping to fundraise for Dana Point Youth Baseball - the county’s largest children’s nonprofit sports league. A dedicated husband and father, Buchanan is an avid golfer, enjoys weight training, skiing, and engaging in competitive athletic events. dpyb.org
