$50,000 Raised for The Heights Foundation’s Programs The Heights Foundation fifth annual benefit golf tournament "Swing For The Kids" at Old Corkscrew Golf Club raised $50,000 for The Heights Foundation’s programs. The programs work to build strong, self-sufficient families in the Harlem Heights neighborhood of Fort Myers. The event included lunch, after golf hors d' oeuvres, auctions, awards, and was sponsored by Five County Insurance and Entech.

National Seltzer Competition Winner Fort Myers Brewing Company’s locally crafted spiked seltzer beverages, Spyk’d Hard Seltzer, has earned national recognition, voted Best Hard Seltzer by attendees of Seltzerland 2020, a national hard seltzer competition held in October at the Westchase Golf Course in Tampa, where over 900 attendees participated in the socially distanced tasting festival.

Bricks & Sticks Fishing Tournament raises over $16,000 The 13th annual tournament took place in September at the South Seas Island Resort, Captiva Island. It was hosted by the Lee Building Industry Association and raised more than $16,000 for Lee BIA Builders Care. The donations will support the nonprofit’s efforts to provide emergency home repairs and construction services to elderly and/or disabled homeowners and families in Lee County.
