New

Note from the Editor...

We have some wonderful new wallpapers this season. Whether you go for super bold and make a true statement or opt for smaller patterns; we are seeing a real mix of global trends in our business. Murals are big – and the choice is amazing, from contemporary images to beautiful landscape , your imagination can run wild. The fifth wall is also a big talking point, as ceilings continue to show how designers love enveloping the whole room. You may want to opt for a professional decorator for the ceiling, but the statement it makes is fabulous.

Creating space using colour affects our mental health and I love Sophie Robinson’s bold use of colour which is so uplifting – it makes you smile. Stretch your imagination with colour, going beyond what could be described as safe, bland, or dull – you can do it. The new warm pinks can be used in any room – don’t think just bedrooms; green and warm terracotta shades continue to grow in popularity giving us comforting earthy spaces and vibrant yellows will always lift your mood.

Kitchen dining spaces are great for experimenting, I change mine regularly and it is always a big discussion point, not just around our kitchen island but in the office too, as I feel the pressure that a change is needed before Christmas!

Be brave and enjoy creating your colourful space. Have a go at hanging wallpaper – paste the wall is the easiest and so rewarding too. Watch our “how to” videos for tips and tricks.

Happy decorating

Harlequin

and Sophie Robinson colour with confidence

Memories of picnicking and whiling away the hours under the shady canopy of a summer tree come bursting through in Sophie Robinson’s debut collection with Harlequin. From sweet candy colours to energising florals, this collaboration is a vibrant medley of summertime in the countryside, a reflection of Sophie’s own woodland wonder home and Harlequin’s ethos to help people use colour with confidence at home.

The ‘Queen of Colour’ Sophie Robinson, British interior stylist, designer and journalist, is famed for her love and use of bright, bold tones. It is her love and passion for infusing colour and uplifting

“Working with Sophie on this launch has been wonderful “ Claire Greenfield, lead designer at Harlequin

interiors through energised palettes that makes this collaboration with Harlequin so harmonious.

Fresh, joyous and full of nostalgia, this launch brings together a collection of archived and original designs that rejoice in the visual feast of picnics and pond dipping in the summer. Pastime memories are awakened with renewed vigour as vibrancy takes the lead across 10 wallpapers, as well as a range of showstopping fabrics.

Sophie Robinson herself couldn’t resist hanging the fresh and effervescent Woodland Floral wallpaper in her brand new home kitchen in the colourway Peridot, Ruby and Pearl. This hand drawn archive design is representative of Sophie’s own country garden and the woodland that surrounds her home. She is truly bringing the outdoors

inside with this design and lifting nature’s best assets through bold colour. An illustrative wallpaper of peony, primrose and laburnum, Woodland Floral alludes to time spent outdoors and the ever-giving joys of springtime.

Dappled Leaf is a long stretch and a tall look up as cascading leaves fall from a canopy of bowing branches. This design was first produced as a block printed wallpaper by Jeffrey & Co. circa 1905 and has now been recoloured for this new collection.

For an abstract take on the work of nature, Wiggle is designed in homage to the flightpath of a butterfly fluttering delicately around Sophie’s country garden. This beautiful wallpaper is a wonderful standalone piece but also works in layered harmony with other designs in the collection.

Sophie commented on her love of bright and bold palettes, “It’s no secret that I’m all about colour, so of course, I jumped at the chance to work with Harlequin. The collection empowers homeowners to decorate more boldly and personally, creating a unique look with the confidence of knowing that each design mixes and matches beautifully. Many of the designs take their lead from the landscape that surrounds my home, such as our three metre woodland inspired impressionist panel or Dahlia Bunch’s botanical bouquet. In contrast, Sherbet Stripe is a rainbow of my favourite colours, gathered like a candy cane of pure happiness.”

Claire Greenfield, lead designer at Harlequin said, “Working with Sophie on this launch has been wonderful - her experience and authority of using colour in interior design dovetails so perfectly with our passion for pattern and colour. We’ve filled archive documents and contemporary artworks with bright, bold highlights, and

brought Sophie’s ideas to life in a way that empowers homeowners to create colour confident interiors that match their personality.”

In the Woods (see on page opposite) is a completely unique and dramatic wooded story in visual form. An expressive three by three metre panel, this mural is an evergreen backdrop, hand painted in the Harlequin studio. Highlights of floral pinks and lilac run throughout, contrasting with a palette of lush and jewel toned greens.

Each and every roll of wallpaper from this collection has been printed in the UK on FSC certified substrates, from sustainable, traceable sources, making it both beautiful and environmentally conscious.

Graham & Brown

Graham & Brown paint range available from Designerpaint.com

Drawing from a desire to embrace the differences and imperfections in everyone and everything, Graham & Brown’s newest wallpaper collections celebrate uniqueness, influenced by multicultural references and a mixture of materials, creating a rich and diverse palette drawn from around the globe. This mantra is the epitome of the

Absolutely Flawsome trend, as forecasted for 2023 by the Colour & Trend Specialists in the Graham & Brown studio.

“The Absolutely Flawsome trend has developed from a yearning to rebel against the ‘crowd following’ nature of society,” explains James Greenwood, Interior Expert at

8 wallpaperdirect.com
Bluebird Popsicle Rhapsody Witchcraft Hartley Damask

Graham & Brown. “Encouraging you to break out from the norm and become more unapologetically individual.”

“Drawing from experiences gathered from around the world,” James continues, “these designs are often full of rich culturally diverse references and celebrate the things that make us different.”

Damask is traditionally a patterned textile, deriving its name from the fine patterned fabrics produced in Damascus, Syria,

in the European Middle Ages. Originally made wholly of silk, gradually the name came to be applied to a certain type of patterned fabric regardless of fibre. The Hartley Damask design brings the intricate filigree design to life with precious metallic intricacies and combines British country manor chic with the historical nature of this woven design technique.

Whilst the Obassia Silk wallpaper takes its name from the Styrax Obassia tree, native to Hokkaido Island in Japan. The delicate detailing depicts the same ovate leaves and

9 wallpaperdirect.com
Obassia Silk Jardin Botanico

racemes of fragrant, white flowers as the tree itself, with the detailing creating the illusion of silk.

The Jardin Botanico wallpaper takes its inspiration from French country design, a beautiful combination of the cosy countryside and effortless chic. French country décor is traditionally made up of a cohesive floral colour palette, with papered walls, worn wooden furniture and crisp white bedding. Jardin Botanico in the Black takes this style and uses it to breathe a new life into the walls, lush with foliage and teamed with a rainbow of unique colour blossoms, the design grows straight out of the paper and lives in the room.

And finally in this little stroll through the wallpapers is the Amherst’s Garden design. Inspired by the Lady Amherst pheasant and drawing from the flora of Southwestern China, Amherst’s Garden is a truly opulent design that is sure to attract attention. Shown here in the fascinating Mulberry colourway, the illustrative technique has an archival quality that is emblematic of the Absolutely Flawsome trend.

“The Absolutely Flawsome trend is all about seeing beauty in all items and making them shine again, thus creating a bespoke and special space,” James summarises. “The mix of materials that come as part of this trend can create a lovely palette mix in any room design.”

Complete with a shimmering effect of mica, the Amherst’s Garden collection combines traditional design with modern techniques to breathe new life with, a fresh colour palette.

Ashdown

Colefax & Fowler

The epitome of British interior elegance

Ashdown Wallcoverings satisfies the continued desire for beautifully created wallcoverings with a hand painted feel. Designs reference hand-rendered decorative chinoiserie panels, rich tapestries and stylised floral trails, using an array of modern digital and surface print techniques.

Drawing upon Colefax and Fowler’s richly layered historical heritage and celebrating it with an enticing mixture of wallcovering designs including beautifully coloured florals and chinoiserie inspired conversationals.

Emulating the graceful glamour of the 18th century hand painted Chinoiserie wallpapers, popular in grand houses, conversational design features birds, butterflies, bamboo and rustic foliage in a varied palette as shown here with the Ashdown pattern.

This collection also includes new interpretations of enduring favourites such as Fuchsia. Popular for many years as one of the original Colefax chintz designs, Fuchsia has a light and graceful feeling. This skilfully adapted version of Fuchsia for wallpaper retains the same scale, easy elegance and versatility of the original. The smaller scale of this design and many of the others in this collection also lends itself to being used not just on 4 walls but the 5th wall (the ceiling) too! As shown here in this timelessly elegant English country style bedroom.

Fuchsia

A charmingly finely drawn Toile de Jouy design featuring a branching leafy trail interspersed with joyful chinoiserie scenes. Toile Chinois is a popular design which is reproduced from a fragment in the Colefax archives.

Another small-scale perfect design, Sea Coral represents branching corals with a deceptively simple classic overall repeat, a useful and adaptable wallpaper, enhanced by traditional surface print methods.

Seraphina is a gloriously trailing wallpaper design adapted from the embroidery of the same name, capturing the dreamy nature of wisteria blooms. The

wallpaper has the stylised quality and timeless elegance of a Japanese screen – as shown here on the opposite page.

Coordonné

Coordonné presents Rest Time by Central Saint Martins, a collaboration with the talented students of this world renowned University in London.

They challenged the art students to create artwork around the theme of reflection and rest time. A time when the clock stops ticking. A time for contemplation: those necessary moments which feed creativity.

The fact that the students come from a range of different nationalities gives character and diversity to the collaboration between Coordonné and the university in London: England, Scotland, Ireland, Turkey, China, Korea and the United States.

They each brought their own personal feelings and emotions to the theme as shown here in some of the highlights from the new collection.

It is a display of contrasting metaphors with one common value: art on the walls.

We do really care

Making a company 100% sustainable and socially responsible is a challenge that keeps Coordonné motivated!

They don’t just mean the guarantee that the final product is eco-friendly in terms of raw materials, manufacturing processes and packaging. For them it also means that there is a commitment to creating a sense of well-being that incentivises them to grow as an approachable and empathetic company.

In fact, they hope that all those involved in the day-to-day work share this sense of well-being and a desire to head in the same direction, towards respecting our environment and taking care of ourselves.

Being a family business with 45 years of experience in the interior design sector motivates them to strive to continue to improve their products, services and processes. They have been successful in keeping production local in Barcelona, ensuring they are always involved in every step and every detail.

They hope that this passion and commitment to what they do, can be seen by you. They are fully committed to the environment and to their customers.

For a change of design style, if you’re looking for beautiful rich colour saturation then take a look at their wonderful Ikart collection. The art of ikat from continents around the world, transferred to walls, has been the inspiration

to develop these wallpapers. Fabrics handcrafted from Spain, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Japan, Iran, India give a universal appeal and resonance to these designs. Drawing inspiration from these ethnic patterns, Coordonné’s wallpaper designers have played with scale to create some amazing patterns.

Chinoiserie Style trend

Beautiful and sophisticated wallpaper designs to transform your home.

How did it begin? Don’t let the name fool you, this trend is not directly about China but it is about the ‘magical allure’ of China as seen through the perspective of the first European travellers in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Bringing together symbols of historical China: dragons, lotus flowers, pagodas and more latterly figures in

traditional dress – this is a European design style. Introduced into the homes of the rich by designers of the period but very much tailored to an opulence and style to impress their sponsors and their wealthy guests. Just as they grew pineapples in their greenhouses, and put uniforms on their staff, they put the new ‘chinoiserie’ decorative style on their walls – dressed to impress!

This decorative style, linked to our historical buildings in Europe, has filtered through the centuries, and style periods to hang in our homes today, casting its magic spell as it transformed to keep up with modern tastes.

Mandarin Garden is a stylised, modern interpretation of this design trend, shown here in the fabulously rich blue colourway, one of four from 1838 Wallcoverings.

Or go wild with colourful elements as shown in this Journey of Discovery design from Harlequin with its pandas, pagodas, geishas and dragons or the elegance of Linwood’s Double Dragon pattern.

Or perhaps this simpler, monochrome design from A Street Prints –Helaine, with its pagoda motifs and elegant leaves, creating a sense of tranquillity and perfect for a bathroom, is more your style. There are many more patterns to discover at Wallpaperdirect.com

Boråstapeter’s NEW HERITAGE

A new collection for Autumn 2023.

In some homes, it’s just there – the warm, easygoing atmosphere that greets you the second you walk through the door. A personality that comes with the confidence to mix colours and patterns that don’t obviously match. To put together things that make you feel welcome, safe and happy right to the core! It can be an artist’s home where every detail is intuitively coloured.

Or a grandmother’s house where things have been added over the years, not because they match in style but for each item’s loveliness. It may also be a traditional Swedish folk home where blue, red, and green combine in warm harmony. What makes us love these places so much? Borastapeter explored these ideas to create a timeless authenticity filled with playfulness and the New Heritage collection evolved.

The designs themselves are inspired by the parks and gardens of different neighbourhoods, filled with houses from different eras. They reflect that the greenery was planted by generations, spreading different moods, lights and scents as the day goes by and the seasons change.

Lessons on being bold by

Brand McKenzie

Brand McKenzie believe that stepping outside of your comfort zone when decorating your home is essential. That in a world of comfortable wallpaper designs, why not take a leap of faith by choosing something unique that advocates individuality over the mainstream. After all, who wants to be conventional?

They understand that creating a unique home that reflects the personalities of the people living there can be challenging. That’s where Carnival Fever comes in, with a wonderful collection of captivating designs.

“Creating our Carnival Fever collection was an exhilarating

journey,” says co-founder, Kerry McKenzie. “Our goal was to create vibrant and imaginative designs that captivate and command attention. Each paper is the result of our highly skilled team’s artistic prowess, blending painting, drawing, and digital wizardry. As you welcome our creations into your home, we’re sure the passion and excitement we felt while bringing them to life will translate to your space.”

Shown here are a few of the amazing highlights from this collection:

You don’t need to live in a mansion to have your own reading room. Use Monkey Library to line your walls with colourful books to create a cosy, librarylike atmosphere. Add a comfortable armchair and reading light, and you’re all set to escape reality and dive into someone else’s story.

The next round is on the animals of Happy Hour, a playful wallpaper that promises to add a dash of something different to your walls. These aren’t your typical animals, though. They have all been given the Brand McKenzie quirky twist!

Perched at the bar you’ll find flamingos in natty hats enjoying martinis (shaken not stirred), English sheepdogs in flat caps (pint in paw) and country foxes up to the city for a little bubbly!

Jane Churchill

Azzura Wallcoverings

If you are looking for the performance of vinyl but with high quality design; want a luxurious but practical choice then Jane Churchill is the brand for you. With no need to compromise with wallpapers equally at home in beautiful commercial settings as they are in your home interiors too.

We were delighted to see the new Azzura collection this year.

Textural, embossed vinyls and printed wallcoverings in a neutral to metallic colour palette. Subtle embossed

designs that emulate woven fabrics and sisals and offer an attractive backdrop to every scheme.

Sunstone is a striking geometric fan design inspired by Art Deco patterns. The fans are created by the clever arrangement of tiny triangles that are given a threedimensional impression with their shadow effect and the way the glimmering inks elegantly catch the light.

The title design Azzura has a more contemporary feel with

The Design Archives

We love a brand with a historical archive footprint, and The Design Archives is a shining example, beautifully showcased in its debut Birchgrove wallpaper collection.

Tree of Life

The Design Archives, a London based boutique interiors brand are best known for their colourful and beautifully printed range of fabrics, so their entry into the world of wallpaper was an exciting departure for the company, which was established six years ago.

“I have long wanted to create a wallpaper collection to add to the fabric collections we have developed over the last few years” explains Sharon Crowson, founder and managing director of The Design Archives. “Taking some of our most popular prints and translating them onto paper with new colours and different scales has been such a rewarding and creative endeavour, and the colour palette provides a truly diverse choice, from rich plum tones to light aqua colours.”

38 wallpaperdirect.com
Tiffany

The Birchgrove Collection signals an exciting development for the expanding company, embracing a classic heritage of pattern and texture, while injecting a contemporary twist through the inventive use of scale and colour. “We have always offered paper-backed fabric wallcovering for its incredibly effective aesthetic and acoustic effects, but it is still a niche product, so I felt it was time to develop a non-woven paper to add to our portfolio” explains Sharon, whose vision for the company is the creation of further wallpaper collections to complement the existing luxury fabric ranges.

The Design Archives has as its guiding inspiration the incredible resource of historical documents found in the Crowson Archive, a curation of 5000 designs collected by Sharon’s father, the distinguished textile printer and collector, Derek Crowson. This design legacy, amassed over many decades provides an invaluable source of inspiration for the team who have digitised the entire collection which includes 18th century Japanese prints, original French chinoiseries and modern 1960s abstract designssome of which Sharon is considering for future wallpaper development. GP & J Baker

This autumn GP&J Baker’s ‘Originals’ wallpapers take inspiration from hand painted documents in their worldrenowned archive and showcase some of their most iconic and enduring designs re-coloured and reimagined as wallpapers for today’s discerning customers.

These joyous, iconic wallpaper designs are perfect for creating a style statement in any room, whether used

all over every wall, as a feature wall, or look wonderfully modern when combined with GP&J Baker’s new smaller scale patterns in the on trend ‘House Small Print’ collection; a delightful assortment of small designs presented in a crisp, contemporary palette.

Combine archival prints with small designs to create sophisticated layered rooms with bags of personality…

40 wallpaperdirect.com
Nympheus Magnolia

Favourite GP&J Baker ‘Originals’ designs that have been revisited and translated to stunning wallpapers include the iconic Nympheus, Magnolia and Ferns as well as a brand new design Trumpet Flower, a unique Arts & Crafts design dating from 1913. All these enduring designs have featured as fabrics within the Brand’s collections for many decades but have now been brought up to date with scale and colouring tweaks to make them wallpapers with contemporary appeal.

Nympheus is an enduring design created exclusively for GP & J Baker by British textile designer William Turner in 1915. The design features a kingfisher amongst stylised lotus leaves with Turner taking inspiration for the design from a Ming dynasty painting on a silk panel found in the British Museum. Re-drawn for screen printing in 1978 this

stunning design has featured regularly in the GP & J Baker range for over 100 years and has now been recoloured to bring the design bang up to date to make it a fabulous statement wallpaper.

Magnolia is a beautiful, joyful design taken from an early 18th century brocade, it was originally hand block printed until 1972 when it was re-drawn for screen printing. The design features magnificent magnolia flowers with large bursts of chrysanthemum and hydrangea blossom and has also been creatively re-scaled to form the Little Magnolia wallpaper design. Magnolia was painted by renowned textile designer William Turner in 1913.

Ferns was created by the textile artist Joseph M. Doran and purchased by GP & J Baker in 1935. The design was based on botanical drawings published in Curtis’ ‘Flora Londinensis’ between 1777 and 1798 which recorded plants growing within a ten mile radius of London. Used in many prestigious

41 wallpaperdirect.com
Ferns Trumpet Flower

homes around the world, it was adored by illustrious interior designer Elsie de Wolfe, whose clients included The Duke and Duchess of Windsor, the Vanderbilt family and Cole Porter.

Trumpet Flowers is a lively tropical design featuring the Brugmansia shrub whose large, fragrant, trumpet- shaped flowers have earned it the name of “Angels Trumpets”. Designed in 1913 by Stuart Proverbs, Vice-President of The Society of Designers, it marked a new direction at the end of the Arts and Crafts era, when exoticism and colour began to emerge. The pattern was originally produced by GP & J Baker from four sets of 68 hand-blocks and remained in print from these original blocks until the mid 1960s.

Baker’s ‘House Small Prints’ wallpaper collection, has been designed to coordinate brilliantly with the ‘Originals’ large scale designs to create contemporary, layered

spaces. These charming designs also work equally well when used alone to provide an elegant foil to furniture and artworks that paint alone cannot achieve and will enhance both traditional and modern interiors.

Favourite small print designs include Seed Pod inspired by the hand printed Indian designs of the 18th century produced for the European market. These charming seed pods are nestled amongst curving loops of foliage and would look wonderful paired with the vibrant Trumpet Flower wallpaper and Tilly an enticing single colour artsy geometric design whose green colourway pairs brilliantly with Little Magnolia in emerald.

Masureel Creativity with passion

If you have not met them before, Masureel is a 100% Belgian company, manufacturing high-quality wallcoverings with creativity, quality and green innovation. Roots, Art and Nature are the core values and together they form the passion that drives Masureel today.

Rooted in the heart of Flanders, Masureel has a longstanding family history in flax growing. Since the 16th century the Masureel family has been a part of the beautiful

West Flemish village of Hulste. In the 19th century, the family was active in the flax industry, producing linen. From 1937, Masureel became active in textile finishing and fifty years later, in the eighties, Guy Verstraete, the present CEO of Masureel, started printing fabrics and wallcoverings.

Art - Every collection is completely made in-house, from design to production. Our design team is a mix of experience and drive, engineering and a sense for art.

Nature – they are committed to protecting the environment, striving for minimal impact in our production facilities as well as for the materials we produce and we are always on the lookout for the latest innovative techniques to produce ecological, environmentfriendly wallcoverings. They were one of the world leaders in developing PVC-free products and now are going a step further

and introducing 100% washable - even scrub-resistantwallcoverings without PVC or other harmful chemicals.

Each Masureel collection has its own unique and original story and new to us this year are Summer, Aquila and Mysa.

Summer: Whatever the time of year, the collection ‘Summer’ brings you the warmth of everyone’s favourite season. Nature in full flower; long, warm days; cocktails and barbecues – total freedom from obligations and a sense that everything is possible...

Aquila combines Southern charm with elegant fashion;

touches of textile with geometric patterns. A tangle of leaves and branches, brightened up with vivid lemons on a dark background. Limone is a simple yet richly detailed design. Sobborgo invites you into charming Southern villages surrounded by nature and Occidens features a large scale herringbone pattern

Mysa, the Swedish word used to conjure up a sense of relaxation, contentedness and enjoying the moment. The wallcoverings from this collection embody this perfectly. We want to create spaces where you feel entirely comfortable, with beautiful wallcoverings that reflect the beauty of Nature.

Little Greene

Launched in 2023 we saw a new collection of these versatile wallpapers transforming historical design into a timeless collection of designs for homes of all eras.

Each design has been created from original source material found at three of the National Trust’s historic houses, Oxburgh Hall and Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk and Newark Park in Gloucestershire, with the addition of one

design that has been recoloured and revived from the Little Greene archive. The stunning Upper Brook Street, with its beautiful bullrushes –is shown here in the eternal sunshine shade of Soleil.

Ruth Mottershead, Little Greene’s Marketing Director, comments: ‘Our collaboration with the National Trust allows us to uncover incredible designs and colours that can be shared with the nation through new wallpaper and paint collections. The contributions made from the sale of every roll of National Trust wallpaper and each tin of paint goes towards supporting the National Trust’s conservation work, to ensure the nation’s historic houses, gardens and landscapes can be enjoyed for years to come.’

Becky Stanford, Brand Licensing Manager for the National Trust, adds: ‘It is thrilling to see how the places in our care continue to inspire our visitors, but also contemporary interior design with the creations of new collections in conjunction with Little Greene. However, our enduring relationship goes beyond the creation of wonderful wallpaper and paint collections. In addition, Little Greene undertakes research into our original wallcoverings, designs and colourways, allowing us to learn more about the collections in our care.’

Ask Richard

Our inhouse decorating expert

Can you put wallpaper in a bathroom? Can you use wallpaper on the ceiling?

We frequently get asked these two questions. And of course our answer is yes! It is all about the planning and preparation.

When you’re hanging wallpaper in a bathroom – you can use any type of wallpaper. Whilst traditionally you might select a vinyl, these days any wallpaper can be used. As long it does not come into contact with water or strong heat then wallpaper is ideal to create an atmosphere and add instant character to the room.

You need to line your walls, and use a good quality ready mixed adhesive to ensure the paper is firmly stuck to the wall.

And if you fancy using it on the 5th wall, the ceiling, you will probably find this is a two person job. Known by stylists as the ‘fifth wall’, the ceiling is an often-overlooked surface for decoration.

Use a boldly patterned ceiling to contrast with colourful walls or keep it fresh with simple neutral walls, as shown in this bathroom with its amazing ceiling in the flamboyant yellow Lémur design from Coordonné.

The other perfect design is of course any of the many cloud or star designs which you can find – all make a perfect eyecatching ceiling to lay back and admire.

Check out our blog and social channels for more design ideas for your bathroom.

Rediscovering Magic Disney Home x Sanderson

Bringing together two iconic brands with far-reaching legacies, Disney Home and Sanderson have collaborated on a very special collection, celebrating 100 years of Disney by delving deep into the Sanderson archive to reveal new fabrics and wallpapers that will delight audiences old and new.

Sanderson’s first collaboration with Disney began in 1928 when Sanderson was commissioned by Walt Disney to produce a collection of children’s wallpapers at its Perivale factory, closely followed by a range of accompanying fabrics printed in Uxbridge, England.

Now, almost 100 years later, Sanderson is unveiling a new edition of original and faithfully interpreted fabric and wallpapers. A cast of memorable Disney characters, charismatic, timeless, and completely charming, are jumping to life in wallpapers, murals and fabrics, adventuring across landscapes and resuming their iconic poses that are unmistakably Disney.

Beautiful storytelling unfolds across the signature quality and texture of Sanderson papers. Memorable scenes have been richly coloured, some designs have been hand-painted and all are intertwined with whimsical nods and peppered with enchanting characters and evoke pure happiness. They are a nod to the past with a thoroughly modern interpretation of these beloved designs. Watch Peter Pan dance across the sky, wander through the park with Pongo and Perdita and indulge in some light plane spotting with Mickey and Minnie as they look to the clouds.

Rebecca Craig, lead designer, Sanderson explains, “Disney is part of all our childhoods, representing joy, happiness and time spent with our families. This collection presents a piece of history, relaunching iconic 1930’s Disney Home x Sanderson designs, alongside the addition of newly created fabrics and wallpapers, each featuring original Disney characters.”
