The Foodbank’s revised hours for all their distribution centres are: Tuesday 9.30am to 11.30am at Ashby congregational church, Thursday 9.30am to 11.30am at St Stephen’s Woodville, Friday 9am to 10am at Measham Baptist Church and Friday 2pm to 4pm at Ashby Congregational church. New Football Team for Bereaved Men

Sands United FC Ashby is a football team for men a ected by baby loss, o ering a peer support network where they can talk about their bereavement when they’re ready. Nominate an Activity Hero

To replace the 2020 Sport and Health awards NW Leicestershire Health and Wellbeing Team will be highlighting the achievements of individuals, teams, schools and groups through their Activity Heroes! Do you know somebody who deserves to be recognised for their success within sport or physical activity this year? Maybe someone who has gone above and beyond during the coronavirus pandemic? Borrow a Book

Did you know that Blackfordby Old School Room has a book swap stop where you can borrow books for free and then return them once you’ve read them? They refresh the books regularly so, so why not pop along for a browse. Please wear protective gloves whilst handling the books though.

Ashby Methodist Church

Although the church building remains closed the team at Ashby Methodist are very much active. They have a recorded service every Sunday which you can  nd on YouTube (search for National Forest East Methodist Circuit).
