Cancellation Policy There is a $15 fee for all reservations cancelled within seven days from the scheduled check-in date.

Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in will result in retaining the first unused nights rent. Any patron paying the monthly rate who leaves earlier in the month will be converted from the monthly rate to either weekly or daily rate and will be issued a refund based on the difference. All reservations and refunds need to be made through the reservation desk at Maxwell Outdoor Recreation.

Tent sites are rented on a first-come, first-served basis for singles and groups.

Cost is $5 per night and must check in at the office.

Outdoor Recreation Area

Located on Lake Martin Reservoir, the Maxwell-Gunter Recreation Area is a premier location for boating, fishing, hiking and camping. The facility includes boat rental and storage, a marina, fishing pier, laundry area, playground, bathhouse and a beach swimming area.
