for. For example, if you are registered for TCS Lidingöloppet 30 @Hemma, then you should run a 30 km course. You can run a longer 30 km course or a loop with several laps, for example 3 x 10 km.

Due to Covid-19 and the bans relating to, among other things, crowds of more than 50 people, Lidingöloppet has adapted the event to follow the rules and guidelines from the authorities and sports federations. We at Lidingöloppet have chosen to offer you the opportunity to compete at TCS Lidingöloppet 2020 and Rosa Bandet-loppet 2020, regardless the fact that it will be a rather different variant for the races.

@Lidingö: The 30km and 15km races start from Koltorps Gärde. The 10km and 4km races start at Grönsta Gärde. Read more under ”Koltorp” and ”Grönsta” below on how to find these places. You can find each race’s route on our website www. tcslidingoloppet.se under the tab ”Course”.

We hope and believe that our runners see this as positive.

For those of you who do not wish to compete this year, there are other possibilities, such as moving your registration to 2021.

CLOTHE S AND SHOE S

The Covid-19 adaptation of Lidingöloppet insists that if you want to participate in this virtual race have a great responsibility to stay at home if you feel the slightest symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sore throat or fever.

EAT AND DRINK BEFORE THE RACE It is important to eat and drink properly before the race, not only the day you race, but also the week before your planned race.

Also remember to avoid starting your race in large groups. And please continue to keep social-distancing!

If you are running @Lidingö: On Saturday 26th September, the entire Lidingöloppet course will be closed for the elite races that we are organising from early morning to evening. We have adapted the arrangement to current legislation, with a maximum of 50 people on the track at the same time. Help us by not coming to Lidingö and running your race this day!

COUR SE @Hemma: Those that run TCS Lidingöloppet@Hemma 2020 and Rosa Bandet-loppet@Hemma 2020 are free to choose where you want to run your race. Choose a course that suits you. The only requirement is that the course must include the distance corresponding to the distance you registered

Those who bought the special Rosa Bandet t-shirt will have the t-shirt sent to your address before the start of the race period.

Feel free to wear the t-shirt when you run your race!

NUMBER-BIB In your Start-info e-mail, you will find the link to your unique number-bib. You print the number-bib yourself and wear it when you run your race. This is not a requirement for running, but the more people who wear a number-bib, the better the race feeling!

PREPARATION FOR TIMEKEEPING There are two different ways for you to record your time; either via a watch with GPS; or with a phone with GPS reception and a training app. Lidingöloppet is connected to the training app STRAVA, which you can download for free the AppStore or Google Play.

During AT THE START

Make sure that you prepare your app/watch for timekeeping and that it has ”found” the GPS reception where you are. You start your race by starting the timing via the app/watch.

THE RACE

You start your race whenever you want. The only requirement is that you complete the race between the 19th September and the 18th October 2020. You start your race by starting your GPS watch or GPS phone. It is your responsibility to ensure that you

have run the correct distance for the class in which you are registered.

Since you are running your race by yourself, you need to make sure to arrange your fluid replenishment. Be sure to drink properly before the race.

Stop the time when you have reached the right distance in the race you registered for. Remember to save the activity in your app/watch and double-check that your run has registered correctly.

After RE SULTS REPORTING NO LATER THAN THE 20/10 When you have reached the finish line, report your time via ”Report Results” link which can be found on My Pages (the link to My Pages can be found in the Start-info e-mail). Detailed instructions on how to do this can be found below, and it can also be found on the Lidingöloppet website.

WHEN REPORTING YOUR TIME Go to My Pages via the link you received in the Start-info e-mail. Here you can choose between twodifferent ways to report your time,: 1. By uploading a GPX file from any training app How you upload differs a bit depending on which watch/ app you have. Go to each manufacturer’s page to read about how to proceed. Download the GPX file, to your computer or phone, and then upload it to our interface. Note that the file you select must have the .gpx extension for us to read the result.

2. By selecting one of your activities in STRAVA. You can connect your training app/watch directly to STRAVA, which means that your activities, including your data on your performance, appear directly in STRAVA and are selectable there. (You will find the information page on how to pair the watch with STRAVA here). Alternatively, use STRAVA as your timing app on your phone. You must first link your Lidingöloppet account to your STRAVA account, which you do by clicking the ”Connect with STRAVA” button. You will then be able to choose which of your STRAVA activities you want to send in as your ”competition entry”.

If yout timekeeping has not worked, there is an opportunity to enter your time manually.

If your result is approved you will be immediately notified.

However, it may be that there is some ambiguity in your result and that we need to review this manually. In that case, you will later be informed by email about when your result is finally approved.

The results from our races will be updated continuously throughout the period, September 19th - October 18th on our website www.tcslidingoloppet.se.

Note that separate results will be established for those who run @Hemma and @Lidingö for both TCS Lidingöloppet and Rosa Bandet loppet.

MEDALS TCS Lidingöloppet medal or Rosa Bandet loppet medal (depending on which race you have run) can be picked up in selected Stadium stores, sent home, or can be purchased (depending on the type of registration you have made). It is available to everyone who has completed the race.

For several reasons, the medals can only be sent out some weeks after the race, tentatively November / December. We were unsure for a long time whether we would be able to complete races in 2020 and have waited with the order of medals. With regards to the finances of our non-profit owner clubs, this was a necessity.

As a thank you for waiting for your medal, our partner Stadium give you an offer. You will get more information about this when you pick up your medal. After you’ve registered your result, your digital medal is available on My Pages. You can attach the digital medal to your Facebook profile or other social media to share your fantastic achievement.

We will not award any silver medals in 2020, either in TCS Lidingöloppet @Lidingö 2020 nor in TCS Lidingöloppet @ Hemma 2020.

PRIZE S No prizes will be awarded in 2020. The Team Competition has been cancelled.

Rosa Bandet-loppet While healthcare is booming due to Covid 19, support for cancer research is, if anything, even more important than usual. Rosa Bandet-loppet is intended to inspire physical activity and spread knowledge about how everyone can reduce the risk of developing cancer through healthy lifestyles.

The race is organised in collaboration with the Cancer Foundation. Every year the race is the official start of the Pink Ribbon campaign – which runs the whole month of October each year. For every entry in Rosa Bandet-loppet, SEK 100 is donated to the Cancer Foundation. In total, more than 680,000 SEK was raised for the Cancer Foundation over the 2019 TCS Lidingöloppet weekend. #tillsammansmotcancer Rosa Bandet-loppet is open to all runners from 11 years and up - both women and men. Choose between 4 and 10 kilometers and grab your colleague, friend, daughter, son, mum or dad and run together. Combine fitness and enjoyment, and contribute to the Cancer Foundation’s Pink Ribbon campaign! The race is included in ” En Svensk Klassiker Korta ” and ” En Svensk Klassiker Tjej”.

A word from our CEO

Welcome to the world largest TCS Lidingöloppet!

Imagine that you soon are standing on the start line to run TCS Lidingöloppet 2020. It was long uncertain whether there would be any race at all this year and we thank you for your patience with us during these past weeks. We are happy that we finally came up with a solution for you to run your race 2020 welcome to the world’s largest TCS Lidngöloppet.

We at TCS Lidingöloppet, our owner clubs, and partners have during the past months been focused in creating opportunities for exercising. We have been trying to inspire as many as possible to keep moving on our social media and we have developed alternatives for competition with our new concepts, VTS and VTSS (our Virtual Terrainserie Stockholm and in Sweden) You all know that we have been trying pretty hard for an approval to organize TCS Lidingöloppet based on slot times. However, the police were not able to approve this solution with the current legislation at hand since it is not possible to have more than 50 people on the track at the same time, no matter where on the track they are. But even if we didn’t reached the finish line with our solution, we have done everything for you- so you can finish your TCS Lidingöloppet 2020 and Rosa Bandet-loppet 2020! Thank you for choosing to run!

This year’s version of TCS Lidingöloppet allows you to run for a much longer time, a whole month and you can choose to run where you like it the most. Even if we will miss the fantastic atmosp-

CHANGE OF PARTICIPANT/RACE Change of participant / race can be made no later than 17th October 2020. If you change from a cheaper to a more expensive race, you pay the difference in price. If you change from a more expensive race to a cheaper one, the difference will not be refunded.

COUR SE ROUTE @Hemma: You choose a course that suits you, in your locality. The only requirement is that it must include a distance that corresponds to the distance to which you are registered. @Lidingö: You follow the blue and white Lidingö race marking no matter which race you run. You will find the race route on below pages and on our at our website www.tcslidingoloppet.se

DIPLOMAS These can be downloaded from TCS Lidingöloppets results page 14 days after the race period. If you ordered a diploma in your registration, you will receive it at home four weeks after the race. You can also re-order the diploma for 50 SEK by emailing info@lidingoloppet.se.

All participation is at your own risk. It is important that you only participate in the race if you are fully healthy.

Remember to eat and drink properly before the race, as well as during the race.

ENVIRONMENT TCS Lidingöloppet is an eco-labeled event. Remember to help keep the course where you run clean of rubbish.

Please make use of public transport or cycle to your course if you have the opportunity.

ENERVIT Runners who bought Enervit packages for Lidingöloppet 2020 will have these products sent home before the virtual race period begins.

FLUID Remember to drink well in advance and plan so you get enough to drink during your race. If you are running @ Lidingö there will be a water filling station at Lidingövallen, after about 8 km from the start if you run 30 km, and about 3 km from the start if you run 15 km. Here you can top up your water bottle or your fluid belt.

Starting area for the distances 4 km and 10 km. The start is on the right when you arrive at Grönsta Gärde, marked with flagpoles and starting line in the grass.

Grönsta Gärde is also a finish area for all races @ Lidingö. The finish area is located on the large field on your left when you arrive at Grönsta marked with flagpoles. All buses from Ropsten that stop at the stop ”Lidingövallen” are suitable to step on if you are going to Grönsta Gärde. From Lidingövallen to Grönsta Gärde it is about 700 meters.

COMPETITION RULE S The Swedish Athletics Association’s competition rules apply to all participants.

HONORARY AWARDS If you have completed TCS Lidingöloppet 30 or TCS Lidingöloppet 15 twenty-five times, you are entitled to the inscribed metal TCS Lidingöloppet medal (maximum one race per year). Runners who have completed Lidingöloppet, regardless of class and time, will receive 10-, 15-, 20-, 30-, 40- and 45-year diplomas. For the Rosa Bandet race, there are 10, 15, 20 and 25-year diplomas. To receive your diploma, send in your name, address, class and which years the races you completed to info@lidingoloppet.se, no later than 30th November 2020.

INSURANCE: If you have cancellation insurance “Motionsloppsförsäkring” from Folksam and cannot start, then contact Folksam.

KOLTORP Startarea for TCS Lidingöloppet 30 km and 15 km.

Here you can go by bus 201 from Ropsten that stops near Koltorps Gärde. You get off at the stop ”Hantverkshuset”. From there it is about 700 m walk.

LIDINGÖSLOPPSLEGEND This is for people who have chosen to donate their entry fee to Lidingöloppet’s ownership associations IFK Lidingö Friidrott and IFK Lidingö Ski and Orienteering Club.

MEDALS This year is ”Rhino” by Carl Milles 1950. The classic medal can be purchased upon registration for SEK 100.

The medal can be sent Hemma or picked up in selected Stadium stores. For those runners who were already registered, the medal is already included in the entry.

The medals will be available at some point after the race, tentatively at the end of November / beginning of December. This is since it was uncertain for a long time whether we would be able to hold Lidingöloppet 2020,

After you registered your result, your virtual medal is available on My Pages. You can share the virtual medal to your social media to share your fantastic achievement.

Registration for 2021 is open. We welcome your registration! Register before 31st October 2020 at a reduced price. In your 2020 registration confirmation, you can find a discount code.

Unfortunately, we will not offer silver medals in 2020 because we only have virtual races.

RE SULTS All results are published on www.tcslidingoloppet.se. Because the race lasts for 30 days, the list of results will be updated continuously.

Remember you must report your own result for it to be included in the results list. You do this via My Pages.

MY PAGE S Here you can handle your registration, make a transfer, change personal information, etc. You also report your result here after you’ve completed your 2020 race. The link to My Pages can be found in your start-info e-mail.

NAME CHANGE/TRANSFER OF PLACE S

Results that are reported with a GPX-file or through STRAVA can see their split times by clicking on the time in the result list, results that are reported with a manual time can not see their split times. Applies only to participation @Lidingö.

You can make changes to your existing registration (2020 and 2021) free of charge until 31st October. The ordinary price is 200 SEK.

Different result lists are drawn up for runners who have completed their race @Lidingö and @Hemma respectively.

OTHER INFORMATION

We have got many questions about the new running shoes. You take personal responsibility for your race during this special year, 2020, and you also take responsibility for the shoes you wear. This is not something that can be checked for races where the runner takes personal responsibility.

For the elite race on September 26, 2020, separate information about the competition rules will be sent out.

PARKING Since participation in TCS Lidingöloppet @Lidingö 2020 and Rosa Bandet loppet @Lidingö 2020 takes place based on the participants’ own responsibility, the Lidingöloppet does not arrange any parking.

Those who run on Lidingö are encouraged to use public car parking spaces that are available, for example around Lidingövallen and in the residential areas between Koltorp, Lidingövallen and Grönsta Gärde.

Lidingöloppet follows the rules of the GDPR and is therefore very careful that your information is handled in a correct and secure manner. You can read more on the website tcslidingoloppet.se.

It is important that you keep your distance, even on the course, according to Folkhälsomyndighetens recommendations. At least 2 meters to reduce the risk of spreading infection .
