Your intensive course is quickly approaching, and we are looking forward to welcoming you to campus. Enrolling in an intensive is a great opportunity to connect more closely to Liberty University, and we’re confident that you will enjoy visiting our beautiful campus in Lynchburg, Va. Being here will allow you to spend time getting to know faculty and fellow students during classes, workshops, luncheons, and activities. You’ll also be able to take advantage of the various academic services, recreational opportunities, and state-of-the-art educational resources that are available on campus. We know your visit to Lynchburg will be a memorable one!
PREPARE FOR SU CCESS BEFORE YOU ARRIVE: Prework and postwork are likely required for your intensive course, so to adequately prepare for your time on campus, please complete the following steps:

Log into Blackboard at Liberty.edu/Blackboard. Your course will be available 30 days prior to the on-campus start date of your intensive. Submit all prework that is due before your arrival on campus. Download the Liberty Today app, which includes a campus map and transit schedule to help you navigate our more than 7,000-acre campus. Order your Flames Pass by visiting Liberty.edu/CardServices and clicking “Flames Pass.” You can request to pick up your pass from Card Services when you arrive on campus. Be sure to pack comfortable shoes and check the weather for Lynchburg, Va. before you leave! Visit LUOnline.com/IntensiveDress for suggested classroom and casual attire.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Settle in before your class begins by completing the following:

Find your classroom location and familiarize yourself with campus. Participate in a campus tour that departs from the Hancock Welcome Center. Register by visiting Liberty.edu/VisitUs and selecting “Schedule a Campus Tour.” Visit the hospitality area closest to your classroom for complimentary refreshments.

You will receive an email from the hotel confirming your stay and offering helpful information about your visit. At hotel check-in, you will receive a packet containing details about dining, transportation, and the campus layout. For additional information, please visit LUOnline.com/Intensives and click on the applicable housing package.

Upon check-in, you will receive a meal pass to present for breakfast and dinner at the Kirkley Hotel. Additional information regarding meals at the Kirkley will be provided upon check-in. As part of your housing package, your Flames Pass has been loaded with credits for four lunches on campus at The Food Court at Reber-Thomas. You may purchase additional meals or Flames Cash at Liberty.edu/FlamesCash. You will receive details concerning the group luncheon we provide once your intensive begins.
