Michael J. Inserra is the Senior Vice Chair and Deputy Managing Partner of EY Americas and a member of the EY US and Americas Operating Executive Boards. Michael’s previous roles include Vice Chair and Regional Managing Partner of the EY Financial Services Office (FSO), Managing Partner of the FSO Assurance Practice and Managing Partner of the FSO Assurance and Advisory Business Services Practice. Previously, Michael spent several years as a member of the Board of Directors and Chief Administrative Officer of Moore Capital Management, a global investment management firm. Patel is the recipient of several industry honors including the 2011 Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year Life Sciences Award® and supports various philanthropic and charitable causes both in the US and abroad. THE POWER OF LIBERTY SCIENCE CENTER: OUR MISSION TO INSPIRE LSC aims to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. Our country—and New Jersey in particular— faces a STEM-workforce crisis: a shortage of highschool and college graduates who possess the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics skills that industry requires. LSC is on the front line of getting K-12 students excited about STEM and into the pipeline toward science and technology careers. Our current offerings include hands-on exhibitions; onsite and off-site education programs; technology that connects students to live surgical procedures through videoconferencing; curriculum-aligned K-12 field trips; multiday laboratory workshops in which students engage in inquiry based projects co-designed by teachers and Science Center educators; professional development institutes that allow teachers to improve their science pedagogy and skills related to the Next Generation Science Standards; a MakerLab with 3D printing, laser cutters, rotocasting, and 3D scanners; and much more. The recent additions of the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium
and LSC Giant Dome Theater and the Weston Family Lab for Earth and Space Exploration have taken our science education options to stratospheric new levels! LSC is also dedicated to helping lower-income communities. The Center serves some 91,000 at-risk students annually and is located next to a low-income neighborhood that has largely been left behind in the renaissance of Jersey City. The Science Center reaches beyond the museum’s physical structure to bring science learning to classrooms and communities throughout the region. Among these influential programs are electronic field trips that bring the LSC experience to the classroom, early childhood programs, and an engaging traveling science program. The next generation of scientists and engineers need a place like Liberty Science Center for inspiration. PAUL HOFFMAN President and CEO, Liberty Science Center
Paul Hoffman, the President and CEO of Liberty Science Center, is leading a transformative era at LSC. Of all established museums in the United States, LSC has grown the fastest, with total attendance skyrocketing 65% in five years to over 750,000 visitors annually. Mr. Hoffman is also the driving force behind SciTech Scity, LSC’s partnership with Jersey City to create a 30acre campus to launch and grow hundreds of worldchanging science and technology start-up companies and reimagine K-12 science education. As a writer, Hoffman’s extensive body of work explores the relationship between genius, madness, obsession, and creativity. He is the author of 11 books, most recently a memoir about the world of championship chess, King’s Gambit: A Son, a Father, and the World’s Most Dangerous Game. His previous book, Wings of Madness: Alberto Santos-Dumont and the Invention of Flight, was a finalist for The Los Angeles Times Book Prize and was the basis of a television documentary for Nova. Hoffman’s first biography, The Man Who Loved Only Numbers: The Story of Paul Erdös and the Search for Mathematical Truth, was published in 16 languages. It received the Rhône-Poulenc prize for best science book of the year. Hoffman was president and editor-in-chief of Discover magazine; president and publisher of Encyclopaedia Britannica; and, most recently, editorial chairman of the video-interview site Big Think. 10 .
He has edited the writing of Oliver Sacks, Jared Diamond, Sherwin Nuland, and Francis Crick. He has conducted long video interviews with Noam Chomsky, Richard Dawkins, Ray Kurzweil, Penn Jillette, Aubrey de Grey, Annie Duke, Michio Kaku, Anatoly Karpov, Ed Koch, Jonathan Irving, Gay Talese, Jonathan Ames, and Nobel laureates James Watson and Orhan Pamuk. A noted expert on the public understanding of science, Hoffman has advised NASA, NSF, the National Academy of Engineering, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard College. Hoffman was the color commentator for 17 hours of live chess on ESPN. He has played chess with Garry Kasparov, and was taken into custody in Libya when he tried to play chess with Muammar el-Qaddafi. Hoffman is the Scientist-in-Residence of Jersey City Urby and co-owner of San Pedro, a late-night Brooklyn bar with Mexico City street food. He is the proud father of a 20-year-old.

CHRIS MESSINA Inventor of the #
Chris Messina has spent a decade living on the edge of social technology. He has designed products and experiences for Google and Uber, founded startups, and changed the world by giving away many of his creations, including the hashtag. His skillset is broad, anchored in product and user experience design. Most recently, he led developer experience at Uber and cofounded Molly (YC W’18), a conversational social AI. Chris has created movements online and off, and acted as a catalyst for change in large and small organizations. In 2004, he helped organize the grassroots movement that propelled Mozilla Firefox to its first 100 million downloads. In 2005, he coorganized the first BarCamp and then popularized the unconference event model to over 350 cities around the world. In 2006, he opened the first coworking spaces in San Francisco, giving rise to a global movement. Then in 2007, he brought the idea of the hashtag to the world, changing social media forever and galvanizing social revolutions across the globe. He has spoken at conferences like SXSW, TEDx, Google I/O, and Microsoft’s Future Decoded, and is frequently quoted in media outlets such as The New York Times, Business Week, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, and Wired.

JOHN URSCHEL
Former Baltimore Ravens Center and Guard, Mathematician, MIT Doctoral Student, and Author
John Urschel is not your typical NFL player. The former all-conference offensive lineman at Penn State received the Campbell Trophy, given to college football’s top scholar-athlete and widely known as the “Academic Heisman.” He also received the James E. Sullivan Award, presented to the nation’s top amateur athlete, joining Peyton Manning and Tim Tebow on the very short list of college football players to win the prestigious honor. Urschel earned an undergraduate degree in mathematics after three years, a master’s degree in mathematics after four years, and another master’s

degree in math education after five years, all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA, teaching an undergraduate calculus course, and publishing a 32-page paper he authored in a prestigious scientific journal. After retiring from the Baltimore Ravens after three successful season, Urschel is now pursuing his PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His new book, Mind and Matter: A Life in Math and Football, explores his dual career paths.
WISENGINEERING WisEngineering has developed a portable, high immersion, and tactile Virtual Reality World. They first demonstrated their mixed reality system for government customers at the I/ITSEC conference in 2018. Most recently, they have focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEM) and (STEAM) programs. “Escape from Nefertiti’s Tomb” incorporates touchable elements of the real world into the comprehensive view of the virtual. Users not only see the simulated environment but can reach out and touch the in-house custom built reality props. As participants physically spin the sandstone block props, their VR image mirrors their movement and shows the blocks spinning in the virtual world. Digital representations of the real-world blocks were sculpted in digital clay using ZBrush. Artists then created game resolution matched details in 3DS Max and then added the blocks to the Unreal Game Engine.

KARLIE KLOSS
Supermodel, founder of Kode with Klossy
Raised in St. Louis, Kloss was discovered at a local charity fashion show in 2006. After walking in her first show for Calvin Klein, her fashion career quickly took off with 64 shows booked her first full fashion week season. Since then, Kloss has walked for top designers including Oscar de la Renta, Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen and Versace, among dozens of others. A global brand ambassador for Estee Lauder, Kloss has also starred in several major international campaigns with brands that include Adidas, Versace, Dior, Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera and Swarovski. Outside of modeling, her passion for technology led her to take her first coding class in 2014. Inspired by code’s creativity and endless possibility, Kloss launched Kode With Klossy in 2015, a nonprofit focused on creating learning experiences and opportunities for young women that increase their confidence and inspire them to pursue their passions in a technology driven world. Now in its fifth year, the organization hosts free twoweek summer coding camps where girls aged 13 to 18 explore the fundamentals of programming in a fun, collaborative and hands-on learning environment. By the end of camp, scholars build their own app or website using programming languages including HTML, Javascript and Swift. Since 2018, Kode With Klossy has also partnered with Teach For America to hire and recruit instructors, who were trained in Kode With Klossy’s curriculum to teach the summer camps. By providing scholarships to nearly 1,000 young women this summer, Kode With Klossy will have reached nearly 2,400 women through its flagship summer camps since launching in 2015.

2 ND GENIUS AWARD
SALLY SHAYWITZ and BENNETT SHAYWITZ Co-Founders and Co-Directors, Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity
SALLY SHAYWITZ and BENNETT SHAYWITZ are the Co-Founders and Co-Directors of the Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity. Lab partners for 35 years (and marriage partners for 55 years), the Shaywitzes are the world’s leading experts on dyslexia. Sally, 76, and Bennett, 79, are academic physicians: she specializes in developmental pediatrics, and he is a neurologist and neuroscientist. Working together, they discovered dyslexia’s scientific basis, pioneered effective therapies, and changed public attitudes. To understand how reading behavior might change from childhood to adulthood, the Shaywitzes have continuously studied, for three and a half decades, 455 people from the age of five. Their research shows that dyslexia affects boys and girls in equal numbers, is not something that’s outgrown, and is not linked to intelligence. Brain scan studies that Bennett conducted reveal a neural signature—a particular brain abnormality—responsible for dyslexia, which is the most common learning disorder in the United States, affecting 1 in 5 people.

CHARLES YANG Violinist
Recipient of the 2018 Leonard Bernstein Award and described by The Boston Globe as one who “plays classical violin with the charisma of a rock star,” Juilliard graduate Charles Yang began his violin studies with his mother in Austin, Texas, and has since studied with world-renowned pedagogues Kurt Sassmanshaus, Paul Kantor, Brian Lewis, and Glenn Dicterow. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras and in concert in the United States, Europe, Brazil, Russia, China, and Taiwan, and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. On June 9, 2005, the Mayor of Austin presented Yang with his own “Charles Yang Day.” In 2016 Yang joined the crossover string-band Time for Three. Not only confined to classical violin, Yang’s improvisational crossover abilities as a violinist, electric violinist, and vocalist have led him to featured performances with a variety of artists in such festivals as The Aspen Music Festival, The Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, The Crested Butte Music Festival, The Cayman Arts Festival, The YouTube Music Awards, The Moab Music Festival, TED, Caramoor, The EG Conference, Oncue Conference, Google Zeitgeist, YouTube Space Los Angeles, Interlochen, and onstage at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center’s Metropolitan Opera House, David H. Koch Theater, Dizzy’s and David Rubinstein Atrium; The Long Center, 20 .

He has performed in the presence of two former US Presidents, the Queen of Denmark and has recently shared the stage in collaborations with artists including Peter Dugan, CDZA, Steve Miller, Jesse Colin Young, Jake Shimabukuro, Ray Benson, Michael Gordon, Bang on a Can All-Stars, Marcelo Gomes, Twyla Tharp, Misty Copeland, and Jon Batiste. His career has been followed by various news media including The New York Times, The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, Playbill, The Boston Globe, Fortissimo, The Financial Times, The Austin American-Statesman, The Austin Chronicle, Shenzhen Daily, The Strad, Dallas Daily, Cincinnati Enquirer, and Juilliard Journal. Yang is featured in Nick Romeo’s book Driven as well as Discovery Channel’s Curiosity.
The Texas Observer noted: “Mr. Yang is a true crossover artist, a pioneer who can hop between classical and popular music and bring fresh ideas to fans of both genres. Rather than maintaining an insular focus and simply assuming that an audience for classical music will always exist, he wants to actively create that audience, to persuade and seduce others into enjoying a type of music as passionately as he does.”
PETER DUGAN Pianist
Pianist Peter Dugan’s 2017 debut solo performances with Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony were described by The Los Angeles Times as “stunning” and by The San Francisco Chronicle as “fearlessly athletic.” He has appeared as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician across North America and abroad. Prizing versatility as the key to the future of classical music, Mr. Dugan is equally at home in classical, jazz, and pop idioms. A sought-after crossover artist, Dugan has performed in duos and trios with artists ranging from Itzhak Perlman and Joshua Bell to Jesse Colin Young and Glenn Close. The Wall Street Journal described Dugan’s collaboration with violinist Charles Yang as a “classical-meets-rock star duo.” Dugan’s recent chamber music recitals include the Chamber Music Society of Palm Beach, Music at Menlo, St. John’s College Recital Series, and a Weill Hall debut presented by Carnegie Hall. His debut album with baritone John Brancy— A Silent Night: A WWI Memorial in Song —pays homage
to composers who lived through, fought in, and died in the Great War. Brancy and Dugan won first prize at the 2018 Montreal International Music Competition and second prize at the 2017 Wigmore Hall International Song Competition. Dugan advocates the importance of music in the community and at all levels of society. As a founding creator and the pianist for Operation Superpower, a superhero opera for children, he has traveled to dozens of schools in the greater New York area, performing for students and encouraging them to use their talents—their superpowers—for good. Martine Rothblatt is the Founder, CEO, and Chairwoman of United Therapeutics and “trans-everything” pioneer of satellite communications and biotechnology. In 1990, she co-founded what is now Sirius XM, the first satelliteto-car broadcasting company, but switched to biotech a few years later after her five-year-old daughter, Jenesis, was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension and given two to three years to live. Martine devoted herself to curing this fatal disease, and she succeeded. Today, Jenesis is alive and well, and United Therapeutics— the company Martine founded and runs—offers five FDA-approved drugs, four for pulmonary arterial hypertension and one for neuroblastoma. “I’m a person who likes to hear why something can’t be done,” she says, “and I’ll whittle down every one of the can’ts one at a time.” She is also a pioneer of pig cloning with the goal of achieving lung transplants that the human body doesn’t reject. United Therapeutics’ pig “pharm” in Blacksburg, Virginia, is the world’s largest cloner of pigs. Martine is now the highest-paid pharmaceutical CEO, the highest-paid female CEO, and the highest-paid transgender CEO. She is fond of the prefix “trans” because her goal is to transcend all limitations the world seems to impose on us. She was originally known as Martin, and in 1994 underwent sex reassignment surgery. She calls herself a transhumanist, a Kurzweilian proponent of the ethical merging of human beings and technology so that people can defy disease and death. An advocate of employing nano and cybernetic technology to extend human life, she had engineers build a robot called Bina48, a likeness of her wife Bina at the age of 48. She envisions a time when everyone will upload their brains to computers so that their minds can live forever.

Recently, Barry combined his astute sense of the apartment industry with his experience developing boutique hotels to launch Urby, a brand of inspired, modern rental properties. Barry has successfully completed more than 2,000 apartments under the Urby brand in Jersey City, Staten Island, and Harrison. Most recently, the fourth of a planned series of Urby developments broke ground in downtown Stamford, CT. Prior to forming Ironstate with his business partner and brother, Michael, Barry was a magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and a former first team all-Ivy wrestler at Columbia University. Barry serves on the boards of Fortress Investment Group LLC, Liberty Science Center, the Lowline, Beat the Streets Wrestling, Inc., and was Team Leader for the USA Wrestling Team at the 2012 London Olympics. 24 .
Bronstein joined Bank of America in 2000 and has held various roles supporting Global Markets, Global Investment Banking, and the international regions. She served most recently as global human resources executive for Global Banking and Markets. Prior to joining Bank of America, Bronstein worked at JPMorgan in a variety of human resources capacities. Bronstein spearheads domestic violence awareness initiatives for the company and is the executive sponsor of its Domestic Violence Task Force. She was also selected as a Global Ambassador for the company’s partnership with Vital Voices in Poland, which brings together influential global women leaders from public and private sectors to mentor women from emerging markets engaged in small businesses and social enterprises. In 2017, Bronstein was recognized by the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation for her and the company’s commitment to domestic violence awareness, prevention, and resource sharing. Jennifer Chalsty was born in a small town east of Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1934. When war broke out, her father, a school teacher, enlisted in the South African army. The family moved frequently. She attended eight schools before graduating from high school. She attended the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg on a scholarship, graduating with a BA degree and a teaching diploma.
Previously, Carlin served as CFO for J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management, with responsibility for all aspects of financial reporting, planning, analysis, and strategy. Prior to that, he was Global Head of Products & Investment Solutions for J.P. Morgan’s Global Wealth Management business. In this role, he oversaw all investment solutions globally, as well as loans, mortgages, deposits, custody, trusts & estates, and Advice Lab.
She taught in Pretoria for two years and, with apartheid becoming increasingly intolerable, immigrated to Canada. She taught there for five months before entering the US in 1957. She and her husband became US citizens in 1960. She has two daughters and three grandchildren. Jennifer Chalsty’s philanthropy is geared toward improving the lives and education of children.
Carlin joined J.P. Morgan in 2001 as a member of the Private Bank Strategy Team, working with the Chief Investment Officer and Global Head of Equities to develop strategies and investment solutions. In 2004 he was appointed Head of Taxable Fixed Income, and subsequently assumed responsibility for all of Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities in the Private Bank. Carlin is a graduate of American University (BS) and Georgetown University (MBA). He also holds the Certified Financial Planner designation. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children.

In this role, he was responsible for directing and managing all business activities of Horizon BCBSNJ, ensuring the implementation of company-wide strategy and driving operational excellence throughout the organization. Conlin joined Horizon BCBSNJ in 2012 as Executive Vice President, Healthcare Management, responsible for the company’s health care services, pharmacy, quality, network management and government programs divisions. During this time, Conlin was the architect of the company’s valued-based health care strategy which is focused on transforming health care in the state to improve quality and the patient experience, and lower costs. Prior to joining Horizon BCBSNJ, Conlin served as EVP at Coventry Healthcare where he headed the company’s medical management, national contracting, and provider relations departments. Conlin also served as President and CEO of Via Christi Health, a Kansas-based integrated health system with eight hospitals, a health insurance company, senior care facilities, physician practices, and home-based and outpatient services. Earlier, he was President of Cross Country Consulting. Conlin holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in health administration from Duke University.
Mr. DeMarco serves as CEO of the company. He is a veteran real estate investment professional with more than 30 years of industry experience. He joined Mack-Cali in 2015. DeMarco, along with his partner Mitchell Rudin, is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. Prior to joining the company, DeMarco was most recently the CIO of CCRE, a nonbank finance company and one of the largest originators of CMBS. DeMarco was also an EVP with Vornado Realty Trust. Prior to that, he was a partner at Fortress Investment overseeing a number of real estate operating companies that Fortress acquired. Additionally, he was a senior managing director with Lehman Brothers in the company’s real estate investment banking unit specializing in mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, and initial public offerings. He serves on the board of Saint Peter’s Preparatory School and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. DeMarco is a certified public accountant. From 2007 through 2010 Ellis was VP, Finance where he was responsible for M&A activity, including transactions in China, Brazil, and India. Previously, Matt worked in England for Dixons Stores Group plc and Coopers & Lybrand where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Joe Hand is Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources and Corporate Services at Celgene, a multinational biopharmaceutical company focusing on the discovery, development and commercialization of innovative therapies for patients with cancer, immune-inflammatory, and other unmet medical needs. He is responsible for all employee-related activities including talent development and learning, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and compensation and benefits. He is also responsible for the management of Celgene’s global facilities footprint, which includes offices and research facilities in more than 40 countries. Under Hand’s leadership, Celgene transformed its approach to human resources and has been recognized as a top employer by Forbes and numerous other independent third parties. He led the integration of Juno Therapeutics, a $9 billion-dollar acquisition of a late-stage CART therapy company and he has recruited many key executive leaders to the company. He was most recently named Celgene’s Executive Lead for the BMS-Celgene integration. Prior to his current role, Hand held cross-functional roles at Celgene, serving as chief of staff to the chairman and CEO and working as an attorney in Celgene’s legal department. Before joining Celgene, he was a litigation attorney at the law firm of Jones Day. His clients included Fortune 500 companies in the financial services, life-sciences, chemical and commercial manufacturing industries. Hand holds a BBA in accounting and computer applications from the University of Notre Dame and a JD from New York University School of Law. Dr. Hariri is a surgeon, biomedical scientist, and successful entrepreneur in both biomedicine and aerospace. The chairman, founder, chief scientific officer, and former CEO of Celgene Cellular Therapeutics, one of the world’s largest human cellular therapeutics companies, Hariri pioneered the use of stem cells to treat a range of life-threatening diseases. He discovered pluripotent stem cells from the placenta and, with his research team, discovered tumor necrosis factor (TNF). Hariri received the Thomas Alva Edison Award in 2007 and 2011, the Fred J. Epstein Lifetime Achievement Award, and numerous other honors.
Ms. Koster has oversight responsibility for information technology including cybersecurity, technology governance, architecture and standards, global networks, data centers, and other technology infrastructure. She is chairman of the board of Pramerica Systems Ireland, Ltd., and founding member of Prudential Systems Japan, Ltd., which are technology subsidiaries of Prudential Financial Inc. She also is a member of the Prudential Foundation board of directors. She leads the company’s Office of Veterans Initiatives, a company-wide program that helps veterans transition from military to corporate life.
Hariri is an adjunct associate professor of pathology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is on the board of visitors of the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Science & Technology Council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is also on the scientific advisory board for the Archon Genomics XPRIZE. Hariri was appointed to the New Jersey Commission on Cancer Research by Governor Chris Christie. Hariri is a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and earned his MD and PhD degrees from Cornell University Medical College. He trained in surgery at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, where he also directed the Aitken Neurosurgery Laboratory and the Center for Trauma Research.
Koster joined Prudential in November 1995 as VP and CIO of Individual Life Insurance Systems, where she was responsible for application development, including those that support distribution, policy administration, customer relationship, business strategy, call centers, service delivery, financial systems, information security, business continuation and architecture. Koster is dedicated to building a pipeline of diverse talent in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). In 2017, Koster was named one of STEMConnector’s 100 Corporate Diverse Leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. She also received the Tip O‘Neill Irish Diaspora Award for contributions toward building the technologists of the future. Laura Overdeck’s Bedtime Math is a nonprofit that helps young kids love math so they will excel at it. A Princeton astrophysics alumna and Wharton MBA, Laura chairs Overdeck Family Foundation, which supports STEM education reform. She is a vice chair of the board of Liberty Science Center, a trustee for Princeton University, and an advisory board member for Khan Academy, Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, and New Jersey Governor’s School.
Prior to IP he served as CFO of GPU, Inc., an electric utility company serving more than 2 million customers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Before becoming CFO, Levy served as President and CEO of GPU International, the nonregulated subsidiary which developed, acquired, and operated generation and utility systems throughout the US, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Levy has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from City College of New York, an MBA in finance from New York University, and is a licensed professional engineer.
John Overdeck founded his New York City-based investment management firm that develops systematic trading systems for its clients. Previously, he was a Managing Director at D.E. Shaw & Co., as well as a Vice President at Amazon.com. John received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics with distinction and a master’s in statistics from Stanford University. Mr. Penson is the founder of Argent Ventures and has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development since its founding. In addition to the day to day management of Argent, Penson is actively engaged in sourcing and executing opportunistic investment strategies. Since founding Argent, he has invested over $2.5 billion in all real estate sectors focusing on investing in challenging real estate assets, with a particular emphasis on development and revitalization opportunities in urban, transit-oriented locations.
Carlos Rodriguez was named President and CEO in 2011, making him ADP’s sixth CEO since its 1949 founding. Under his leadership, the company has accelerated its transition from payroll processor to human capital management services provider with a comprehensive “hire-to-retire” portfolio, including benefits administration. It has also nearly doubled the number of clients using its cloud-based services. And its Professional Employer Organization (PEO) business has nearly doubled the number of client employees served, putting it on par with the nation’s largest employers. After joining ADP in 1999 through its acquisition of Vincam, Mr. Rodriguez held a series of positions with increasing responsibilities before becoming CEO. He served initially as CFO for a short period before becoming President of ADP TotalSource. Under his leadership, TotalSource became the fastest-growing and largest PEO in the industry. He also served as President of the National Account Services and Employer Services International divisions, which serve large companies, and spent several years as President of the Small Business Services (SBS) division. While in that role he oversaw the launch of the cloud-based “RUN Powered by ADP” payroll management service. Rodriguez holds MBA and BA degrees from Harvard University. He is a member of the Business Roundtable and the Economic Club of New York.
Penson is responsible for all investment structuring and capital sourcing. He also oversees all property development activities and has led the successful repositioning of major New York properties such as the Manhattan Mall, One Park Avenue, and 633 Third Avenue. He was the driving force behind Argent’s 2006 acquisition of Grand Central Terminal. In addition, Penson managed the acquisition and development of a three-million-square-foot data center portfolio in addition to numerous office, hotel, residential, and retail properties nationwide. Prior to Argent, he was in charge of the real estate investment division of Amroc Investments, a prominent investment firm and the predecessor to Avenue Capital, a multibillion dollar distressed sector hedge fund. Previously, Penson practiced law at Jones Day. He is a member of New York Law School’s Board of Trustees. Penson earned a BA from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a JD from New York Law School. He is an avid art collector, a loving husband, and a proud father to six wonderful children.

Mr. Tusar is a senior executive with more than 25 years of experience in securities trading and technology. Prior to his current position, Tusar was the head of Client Market Making and execution Services at KCG in New York City. He began his career as the fourth employee at the electronic start-up company TLW Securities. Tusar also serves as a trustee of the Raptor Trust in Stirling, NJ, and proprietor of the family owned and operated hobby store The Bearded Dragon Games. He resides in Bernardsville, NJ.
Weston’s commitment to education and human rights is evident in his extensive and enduring board service. One of the exhibition’s sculptures, “Mother Polar Bear and Cubs,” weighs 625 pounds and contains more than 125,000 LEGO® pieces! As part of a partnership around this exhibition, Kenney will custom-build a unique piece exclusive to LSC, inspired by our animal collection. This giant premium experience will include a play area where guests can dream up and build their own creations with thousands of LEGO® bricks.
THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF SHERLOCK HOLMES Now - May 27, 2019 Solve a crime in LSC’s next premium exhibition, The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock combines forensic science with history and culture to bring the classic stories to life. Enter Sherlock Holmes’s London and learn how this famous character used seemingly trivial observations of clues that others missed to solve mysterious crimes in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s celebrated novels.
YO U N G L E A R N E R S THE LION GUARD Now - Sept. 8, 2019 Explore the Pride Lands with Kion and his friends in this Lion King-inspired exhibition. Train with each member of the Lion Guard to protect the balance of the Circle of Life. Learn about wild animals and explore the African savannah. Enjoy hands-on activities and imaginative play and discover the importance of teamwork as well as the unique traits of the Lion Guard.
DINOSAUR TRAIN Sept. 21 - June 20, 2020 Dinosaur Train: The Traveling Exhibit features a curious Tyrannosaurus rex named Buddy who travels the world to discover everything there is to know about dinosaurs. This new exhibit will transport kids back to the time of dinosaurs and encourage basic scientific learning through fun, hands-on activities.
