[ ]ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ange-Marie Hancock is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Gender Studies at the University of Southern California,where she also works with the Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration and the Program for Environmental and Regional Equity. She continues to serve as a local and national expert on U.S.politics,and her most recent book, Solidarity Politics for Millennials:A Guide to Ending the Oppression Olympics,focuses on the development of deep political solidarity regarding issues like marriage equality and immigration reform.
