Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Slept Here The Park Avenue duplex where Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis lived as a child has sold for $25,250,000, one of the city’s most expensive closed sales in July. This grand home is on the sixth and seventh floors of 740 Park, the venerable co-op building on the corner of 71st Street, designed by Rosario Candela and developed by James T. Lee, a grandfather of Mrs. Onassis. Mrs. Onassis, then Jacqueline Bouvier, resided there with her family from 1932 to 1938. The apartment was listed by Serena Boardman and Jeremy Stein of Sotheby’s International Realty.
Meg Ryan Sells SoHo Loft Actress Meg Ryan has found a buyer for her Manhattan loft. The apartment was featured in Architectural Digest earlier this year. “As an actor, you are so rarely in control,” she told the magazine. “You’re always saying words that someone else has given you, standing in a room that someone else has designed, to create a reality that someone else wants to see.
