We discarded plastic food packaging for our convenience, which will become the food of ocean-dwelling creatures. Therefore, I use plastic food packaging products instead of seafood to release new products. Thinking from a human perspective, what if these plastics are for us, is our desire to eat turned into a loud complaint? Through these posters propose a customer complaint about marine creatures that can't speak.

The concept is to combine food and plastic, and I decided to use photography in order to have a sense of reality.

A. The sashimi on top of rice is made of plastic snack packaging. Inside the packaging I wrap some light clay to fix the shape.

B. The scallops is made of bottle caps. I use utility knife, paint and model grass to make it looks like it had soak in seawater before.

C. The fish roe is made of straw which painted in red.

At first, I tried to make fish meat ball by cover the straws, bottle caps and rubber bands with light clay, but the result is not ideal, the plastic content seems to be too little. Then I changed my way, I wrap the plastic bag and the plastic snack packaging with tape. Then use a straw painted green as chopped scallion.

concept

In recent years, the problem of plastic pollution has become more and more serious. From 2020, the amount of plastic even far exceed cigarette butts and become the most common waste on the beach. Therefore, I made plastic into fast food products. In addition to understanding the feeling of marine animals seeing these wastes drifting in the ocean and eating these man-made wastes from a human perspective. Disposable, quick and convenient also echoes the damage caused by plastic products.

One of the characteristics I take from plastic is convenience, I associates it with fast food.I wanted to combine these two things.

During the process, I remembered that I often saw the news that sea pots accidentally ingested plastic, so I decided to make plastic waste into fast food. Reflect on what would happen if we were the ones who ate the plastic today.

I want to present fast food where everything is made of plastic.

1. French fries are made from plastic straws.

2. Burger buns are made from plastic lids, lettuce and cheese are made from rubber bands, burger meat are made from potato chip wraps.

3. Coke is made from bottle caps.(I used a utility knife to cut a rectangular hole in the back of the bottle so I can put bottle caps inside the bottle.)

The appearance of the blood vessels is comprise of the word‘’human”in chinese, which means that there is a virus in the human body.

The concept is that the virus will become part of the genetics. ▲

In the future, we will face an ever-changing world, and the virus is no exception. In the face of change, the only solution is "coexistence". We will no longer have to work hard to eliminate viruses, but instead coexist with them. Humans also change, allowing white blood cells in the body to fuse with viruses, or for viruses to piece together our DNA. In the future, viruses will no longer be a threat to the human body, but a part of living together and evolving together.

About Chinese New Year the first thing that came to my mind is spring couplets, so I also used symmetrical, inkjet elements, and of course the zodiac of the year. The color I choices are red and gold, both have festive feeling and common in Chinese New Year.

When it comes to April Fool's Day, the first thing that comes to mind is toys and surprises, so I drew a composition that looks like the prank toys jumping out of the box. There is also a small detail that the chinese words at the bottom of the card are same pronunciation but different words of fool.

I think there's something mysterious about Halloween, you can seeing cute little kids dressed up, but there are also a scary legends behind it. I would like to be able to present these two facets.

The color I choose is classic orange and black.

I wanted to draw a cute set of holiday cards, mostly using intuitive elements to draw illustrations. I hope that everyone who receives the card can feel the festive atmosphere and enjoy it.

I've always wondered if Santa would eat too much milk and cookies and end up stuck on his couch? So I drew this scene to let everyone see the Christmas that belongs to Santa Claus.The details in the background are pictures of Santa's bodybuilding in the past hanging on the wall.

concept This creation is based on the theme of warriors. Because warriors need weapons, I started thinking of sharp and hurtful things. In addition, I like to draw formal styles, so I thought of the profession of a suit tailor, and created this character based on this.

About the weapon, I hope is related to sewing, such as needles, scissors and tape measures. Accessories are also added with pins, buttons and paper clips to make the whole feel like a tailors.

This creation is based on the theme of food, because I wanted to draw some foods with bright colors and many ingredients, so I finally chose ice cream as the proto type design for this character, referring to the characteristics of wafer rolls, and the ice cream cookie bowl for clothing designed. Because gelato is usually sweet and brightly colored, I turned the character into a cute girl and presented it in 2D style.

The theme of this creation is monsters, and I want to present a weird, evil, and dangerous feeling. I was inspired by goat bones and added some religious elements like priest clothes, triangles, etc. To give a non-human feel I added some weird features like six arms, sheep's hind feet, a sheep bone for the head, and a lot of eye as decorations on the clothing. With common things combined with uncommon combinations can add to the feeling of fantasy and mystery.

concept This illustration series is based on my original characters, and their common elements are the large color blocks in the background and the accent lighting on them.

I wanted to show three different styles of clothing for this collection, and I also tried some different compositions and colors.

At first, I just wanted to draw a cute little thing, so I drew a set of lemon stickers from my own preferences, the other set was born to give to a friend who likes oranges. While painting, I felt that the fruit had the potential to be made into a series, so I continued to paint.

My target customer is students, the style of the stickers is mainly weird and cute. According to my analysis, students prefer stickers with no words and strange patterns. It turns out that weird expressions and fat fruits are indeed very popular.
