The boat arrives in Scala, where the heartbeat of the island beats! Numerous shops, taverns, cafes, hotels, rooms are there! The beach of Scala with its golden sand and beach bars is a great choice for you to hang out, swim or even dive!

Tip:

In Scala there are two well organized beaches. One beach is located at the beginning of the village, next to the port and in front of the church of Agioi Anargyroi. It is a beautiful sandy beach, with crystal clear shallow waters. It attracts a lot of people and many families, as the sea is shallow and suitable for children and the elderly. The other one is located on your way to exit the village and it also attracts a lot of people, as it is both pebbled and in parts sandy.

Tip: Both beaches offer umbrellas with sunbeds and tables where you can have a drink or a snack.

After swimming, rent a bicycle! If you want to live the island to the fullest, forget about the luxury that a car offers.

You open your eyes and you only see green and blue sea! Take your bikes and leave for Megalochori! It’s just10 minutes away!

Tip:

To the left of Scala, following the coastal road to the southeast, you will reach the rocky area of Skliri. A beach with crystal clear, green-blue waters.

Tip: A little further down you will find an organized part of the beach where you can enjoy your coffee!

The picturesque port of Mariza is 200 meters away from Limenaria and is a sample of the beauty and magic. Mariza is a rocky beach, full of pine trees, with deep crystal clear wate rs, to which access is easy and by any means of transport. Tip: It is a cove in which many love to moor their boats.

Tip:

The coastal road after Megalochori turns south and continues parallel to the beach, crossing a dense forest and beautiful coves with clear blue waters. Pebble beach with sunbeds umbrellas and water sports, crystal clear, shallow waters and pines reaching the sea. In Megali Dragonera you will find coffee, food and cocktails. Enjoy the sunrise as it is said to be the most beautiful on the island!

There are two beaches with clear blue waters both sandy and pebble. The first beach is located to the left of the port of Megalochori and the second one is on the right of the port and consists of small organized sandy beaches. Tip: On the second beach, you will find umbrellas, sunbeds and tables, where you can enjoy with your an ice-cream or a meal.

To the left of Scala, following the coastal road, southeast you reach Skliri. Continuing on a narrow path, after a dreamy path through the pines, you will end up in a natural blue bay, with large white pebbles and green-blue waters. Welcome to... Halikiada!

Tip:

On the west of Limenaria, you will find the beach of Aponisos, where the pines embrace the sea, offering you relaxation and tranquility. The pines end up in small flat rocks and thus reach the crystal clear waters of the sea.

Tip: Access to Aponisos is easy by car, bike, motorcycle or local bus.

Tip: Access is difficult, requires great attention and can only be done on foot. The waters are shallow at first and then steep and deep enough.

From the port of Piraeus depart daily routes of Saronic Ferries to Agistri while the journey takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
