EE AT HEATHFIELD CLIMBING, SWIMMING AND ART ARE THREE MORE OPTIONS AVAILABLE EACH WEEK AT HEATHFIELD Beginners Climbing Club (Y6-13)
NICAS is the National Indoor Climbing Accreditation Scheme and it is an 8 week long course. Students will be taken to ROKT, the indoor climbing gym in Brighouse. On completion of the course students will receive their climbing NICAS level one award and accompanying booklet.

EE AT HEATHFIELD FOOTBALL AND COOKING ARE ALSO ON THE MENU FOR OUR STUDENTS AT HEATHFIELD Cooking Club (Y5-6)
An interactive culinary experience for young chefs to learn and play. Students will learn to work hygienically and independently to make a variety of food products.
Students should bring an apron, hand towel, washing up gloves and a container.

Football Coaching Mark Duffy Football School (Y3-6)
Sessions are focused on individual play and learning the fundamentals of football. Players are encouraged to have as many contacts with the ball during the session, with various fun games and small sided matches enabling a high number of touches during the hour.
The coaching team from Mark Duffy Football School have over 60 years experience combined, with children already enjoying this activity during the Michaelmas term.

Higher Project Qualification (Y10-11)
The HPQ is a standalone qualification, equivalent to half a GCSE. The HPQ provides an exciting opportunity for students to develop and extend their understanding in an area of personal interest. It is also a stepping stone to the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
This term Y11 students will be focusing on completing their written report and preparing their final presentations.
This term Y10 students will be completing research into their chosen idea, whilst also having individual meetings with their supervisor to keep them on track.
