Donations to the Trust
October-December
Donations during this period from individuals and groups, plus ancillary items, totalled £40,443 including the Big Give appeal (noted elsewhere in this edition) and dedicated appeals, adding to the £5,450 in Gift Aid tax claims for UK taxpayers who completed the required formalities.

Support was given during this period by the following:
Chasetown Civil Engineering Ltd, plant maintenance. Steven Webster, plant operations and use of privately owned equipment. Tesco Store, Lichfield for providing use of their Community Room for Trust monthly meetings, and share of their used book stall sales proceeds.
Westwood Building Services, use of site plant.
And all L&H Trust and visiting volunteer teams on:
Canal restoration, plant maintenance and repair. Green and Grounds Team, planting, vegetation control and maintenance of Heritage Towpath Trail for public benefit. Marketing and Retail Trading fundraising support to the Trust.
Special thanks go to:
300 donors and pledgers raising £38,173.06 with Gift Aid in our Big Give appeal for a lift bridge between Tamworth Road and Longbridge Road.
Combined grant funding awards from European Regional Development Fund, HS2 Community and Environment Fund totalling £121,600 towards habitat improvements, natural environment and rewatering the Darnford Moors Ecology Park canal section restoration, south east of Lichfield.
Chris Smith of Bluetech Waterfront Solutions Ltd as contracts manager for the Darnford Moors Ecology Park project.
