Pizzitola Memorial Sports Center

The Paul Bailey Pizzitola Memorial Sports Center was officially dedicated in April, 1989. Designed by the Eggers Group of New York City, the Pizzitola Sports Center provides an intercollegiate competition court for men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics, with bleacher and balcony seating for 2,800. With separate practice space for wrestling and gymnastics, The Pizzitola Center also houses four tennis courts beneath a fiberglass fabric roof. Brown University enlisted Site Specific to lead the design/build of the Pizzitola Center’s new Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse locker rooms. Extensive system, support and life safety upgrades included a new state-of-the-art training facility with plunge pool and the installation of physical therapy equipment to support the Brown Athletics program.
