Tom Watson Although he tried to leave his birdie putt on the 18th green short on Sunday, it was moving dangerously quick as it slid down the slope and disappeared into the hole.

Watson took a few giant steps and flung his hat into the air in celebration exclamating his first PGA TOUR victory in nearly nine years.

Vijay Singh In a mad dash to the finish, Vijay nailed a magnificent three-wood shot for a tap-in eagle on the 15th hole. The eagle was the difference between runners up Greg Norman and Jim Furyk. With patience and perseverance and despite a bogey on the 17th, Singh eventually parred the 18th hole and secured the victory.
