Childhood Favourites

Are you a star baker of book-themed cakes in the making?!

Consider signing up to bake a Childhood Favourites themed cake to help us celebrate WBD 26 and to raise money for BookTrust UK. You may sign up individually or in 2s or 3s, and you must provide all allergy information for your bake on the sign up form, along with a title for your bake. Once you have been confirmed as a baker, you commit to bringing in a cake to leave in Centenary Hall by 8.40 am on Monday 2nd March. After judging has taken place, you will be required to staff your stall at the lunchtime bake sale. There will be a winner and two runner up prizes.

Dress Up Ideas

(Some book character images to give you inspiration)

We award achievement points and prizes for the most creative and best-effort outfits! You may well go down in LGGS history with your photo in The Chronicle!

Think about your favourite books at primary school, in KS3, or now, for that matter! Or ask your parents which picture books you liked best as a young child.

Is there a standout character you could dress as?

Or, alternatively, we do love a group effort at LGGS.

Dress up is of course optional but if you want to get into the LGGS spirit and dress up for charity, it makes for a very fun day! Your teachers will be doing it too!
