Dear LGFB family,

As we look back at our successes of 2022, you’ve been instrumental in all we were able to accomplish; from launching our new men’s program to re-opening sites in a post-COVID landscape, and to once again holding in-person events. We also began building the future of LGFB – one that is more inclusive and accessible and amplifies the unique voices of those facing cancer. Thanks to you, we’ve been able to offer more resources to enhance the ways in which we connect with our community.

The events on the world stage have made life challenging for us all and have impacted those facing cancer even more. As we continue on our trajectory, we are reminded now more than ever that we must focus on a vision where we can support people of all genders, ages, social economic statuses, different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and those in remote locations - all of whom are often under-represented in our health care system.

The impact of a changing world shows us that we too must evolve with tangible actions; this is why we are expanding our endeavors to new programming, increasing accessibility and our digital infrastructure, adding resources to meet multicultural and diverse language needs and transitioning to “helping people facing cancer” - to show that we stand by our words of including all individuals impacted by cancer.

We are excited at the onset of a new era; and we hope that our community of supporters will choose to stand by LGFB to see us through the next phase of this evolutionary journey.
