In Gratitude for our Retirees

After 27 years of service to the Academy, we extend our gratitude to Colleen McCorry and Terri Rogan, for all the ways they have shared their time, gifts and Serviam spirit with the Ursuline community.

Colleen McCorry

Director of Counseling

Colleen McCorry, Chair of the Counseling Department, guided countless students over her years at Ursuline. She helped students manage their schedules, their stress, and their pathways to their future. She worked with co-workers to implement mindfulness and encourage stable mental health in and outside of the classroom. She was an integral part of Ursuline’s mission to develop the whole person, keeping her students at the heart of everything she did. While she will be greatly missed in the halls of UA, retirement calls and rest and relaxation are in her future. Her helping heart will be missed.

Terri Rogan

Director of Global Education Mission Effectiveness

Throughout her 27 years at Ursuline, Terri Rogan had her heart and hands in several of Ursuline’s traditions, including new coworker retreats, student retreats, and liturgy and Graduation services just to name a few. Terri served as the Director of Mission Effectiveness, working closely with the President and Principal to maintain and integrate the Academy’s philosophy, mission, and vision in all aspects of the community, in addition to working with our Campus Ministry team in guiding faith formation for students. She always had a smile on her face and an open-door policy, as many of students over the years could attest to. In a word, Terri was a testament to what it meant to live out our Ursuline motto of Serviam. Through her example of living out the Ursuline charism, Terri has shared the spirit of St. Angela with countless students, co-workers, and members of the Ursuline community. In retirement she shifts her helping heart to others in the community.

As an Ursuline community, we are immensely grateful for the dedication and service both Colleen and Terri have demonstrated to the Ursuline Mission. We wish them all the best and congratulations on their next chapters!
